What a privilege to be surrounded by art, friends and a city that feels like magic. This biennale I felt less of a frenzy and more of an impulse to slow down and really meander through, making time for late night conversations over late night parties. Some highlights from a special few days made all the more special since I got to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday with her introducing her to what I love about this place.
The club, but make it floating on a river with dolphins. Loved this cutie cutie Miami girlies reunion this weekend with @6taylor_made and @theperfectjem 🐬🌴☀️
Jack Whitten: The Messenger is such a fantastic and thoughtfully curated show. Perhaps because of my recent relocation to Memphis I found myself drawn to the details of these two works toward the beginning of the exhibition both in their own ways meditations on MLK.

2) “King’s Garden #4”, 1968
Last month I installed my final curatorial project at MOCA North Miami. Thank you @vpvpierre for sharing the shimmering, sumptuous and fierce world you’ve created in The Maiden is The Warrior, it was a perfect send off 💕✨

Paddleboard Princesses reunited! Had so much fun on Sunday floating around the river and looking at parrot fish near an abandoned boat. Even made a new friend Claude the crab 🦀
Had the best time this weekend being a part of celebrating these two lovely people and their marriage! From dinners in Evanston to hanging out at your “farm” watching your love grow and you become better together has been the best part of knowing you both. I wish you many years of happiness, love and adventure @6taylor_made & @jknowles06 🥰
Season finale of Paddleboard Princesses with special guest stars. Last float on our manatee lagoon as a 305 resident. Appreciate @theperfectjem and @sameeera.j for trying something new with @6taylor_made and me 🚣🏽♀️💕🌊 (there is no manatee emoji)
Today is the last day I will call 44 Pinebrook my home. In the 30 years we’ve lived here this house has seen a big bird yellow bedroom (my stepdad let 3 year old me pick it out), college acceptance letters, so many birthday and holiday celebrations. It was where I went when I was at my lowest for hugs from my family. Most of all it was full of so much love and laughter. Grateful for all of the memories that came from this house we made a home.
So proud of the work on view at @mocanomi this season. The artists pushed themselves and their practice and I’m always grateful when I’m trusted with such meaningful work. Thank you Andrea (@andreachungstudio ) and Smita (@smitatims ) and the whole team at the museum!
