Merry Christmas from my crazy family to yours! We had a busy week bopping around upstate NY to visit everyone. Highlights included seeing 98 yo aunt Gloria, playing the Saran Wrap ball game (thank you Margaret!), prime rib at Valās and getting a very desired new coat off my wish list šCheers to a festive holiday and a happy New Year š„
Such a fun weekend celebrating Sophieās 13th birthday! From go karts to the aquapark to the beach, the weekend was full of old and new friends and lots of laughs and games and water activities!
Another Corey Birthday celebration in the books! What a gorgeous Mastic night with friends and amazing food! The German theme did not disappoint. We locked the doors, closed the blinds and put on all our sequins for Scissor Sisters at MSG. My love for the Scissor Sisters is contagious and Sophie caught the bug. She took her mama out all night and boy did we have a Kiki! We were also treated with an appetizer of the Vengaboys (those songs are still stuck in my head) and then a little Kesha dessert. @scissorsisters

Iāve been going to the Moth for over 20 years with @lauraecksteinjones when it was just what is now known as as story slams at Housing Works Bookstore. Then we were lucky to attend main stages at some incredible venues like the The Players Club and Cooper Union but nothing beats listening to stories outdoors at the charming, lavish and mystical Greenwood Park Ceremony. Honored to share the experience with new friends and my fave performance buddy, Sophie.
4th Annual Horseshoe Crab count with the @masticbeachconservancy . Playing with these incredible docile ancient creatures is always a highlight of my spring. We had an amazing turnout with 40 volunteers and tagged 500 crabs. Thank you @ccemarineprogram for your insight and guidance

New work for Wine Spectator magazine with the Napa Valley wine legend, Bill Harlan. This was a fun session as I didnāt really know much at all about Harlan other than his reputation in the wine industry. During his interview with publisher Marvin Shanken I learned about Billās story and his love for motorcycles. He was a motorcycle racer in his youth. Equally as interesting are other stories that he shared such as swimming from Alcatraz to the mainland, hitchhiking through Africa, and a career in high stakes poker. I wanted to create a timeless portrait that would support his incredible story of adventure and living in the moment. Thanks, as always, to the incredible team at Wine Spectator for having me shoot another cover!
