I am chasing more than just medals, I am chasing history. Thatās exactly what my team and I were able to achieve. I was able to become the first ever @ibjjf black belt World Champion from Australia. Something I had dreamed about ever since I was a 10 year old white belt learning my first ever arm bar. Even though my 2025 competition season has come to a close, Iām beyond excited for all the challenges that are to come in 2026. I will continue to challenge myself and push the boundaries.
Canāt wait for my happy birthday post from @ibjjf and to never pay for another competition registration again š
Iām still trying to make sense of what happened this weekend.
When I left for Vegas, the intention was to make history; thatās exactly what we were able to do.
Iām so incredibly honoured to bring back not 1, but 2 ADCC World Championship medals (+ a belt!!) back home to Australia š¦šŗ!

I can proudly say, I am the first (ever): Australian ADCC World Champion, -55kg World Champion, and the lightest athlete in history to win the open class division.
I still however feel as though I am only getting started in what I can only hope will be a long career of competing. I absolutely love what I do and have every intention to continue doing it for as long as I possibly can
