Nobody talks about this enough.
Unlike medicine , there is no clear career ladder in public health. No housemanship. No structured path. Just… figure it out yourself.

This has been one of our biggest dreams as an organization, and seeing it finally become a reality means so much to us. These gadgets will support our podcast series, digital storytelling, video production, and other creative content that amplifies the voices of young people and adolescents while also sharing powerful stories from the community of our implementation.
Over time, our online content has helped us create awareness, spark conversations around young people and adolescents and also showcase the impact of young people. Highlight from the establishment of the Community Coordination Committee (CCC) under the Her Response Count (Her-RC) Project, with funding from @wphfund and support from @unwomen
The CCC is made up of traditional leaders, religious leaders, security representatives, and key stakeholders from Numan and Demsa LGAs who will work closely with the Women Climate Action Committees (WCACs) to strengthen collaboration, support mediation efforts, and promote peaceful resolutions to climate-related conflicts within the communities.
The establishment of the CCC reflects the growing importance of collective community action, where both women and community stakeholders work together to build more peaceful and climate-resilient communities.

It’s OKAY not to be OKAY.!
More people around you are experiencing mental health crises than you know and many don’t even recognise it in themselves or in the people closest to them.
Recognising it is the first step. Because once you see it, you can find the right help and the right coping mechanisms.
But here’s what we also need to talk about ; how you check on people matters.
Don’t say:
❌ “You have so much going for you, why are you sad?”
❌ “Just pray about it”
❌ “Others have it worse”
❌ “You don’t look depressed”
Instead say:
✅ “I’m here, no pressure to talk”
✅ “I’ve been thinking about you”
✅ “You don’t have to be okay right now”
✅ “I’m not going anywhere”
Sometimes presence is the whole thing. No fixing. No advice. Just being there.
And one more thing : always ask first. “Is it okay if I call you?” A sudden call with questions can do more harm than good. Check before you check in.
Let’s normalise this. Let’s check on each other and do it right.

Her Response Count Project!
In preparation for the next phase of the Her Response Count Project, our project team set out to Demsa LGA to establish the Community Coordination Committee (CCC). The committee comprises key male stakeholders from Numan and Demsa LGAs who will serve as an interface between the Women Climate Action Committees (WCACs) and the community.
The establishment of the CCC is a strategic step towards strengthening the involvement of women in community decision-making processes, while also enhancing collaboration and support for the WCACs, especially in times of conflict resolution and mediation within the communities.

On my journey of living , I have given the all of me and lose myself (that inner baby ADEK) without all that life has given her to experience, do or have in my years of being alive !
Where is ADEK without all the protocols , expressions, systems or any formality?
I took time to find her again and ohhhh I will never lose touch with her again !
I will prioritize me more now …..
I want to give all to that me now ….
For all the years I have given my all and poured out , it’s okay to now give that baby ADEK !!
