This Memorial Day Weekend, a few friends of the farm are bringing something special to the vineyard.
We’re welcoming winemaker Elizabeth Higley of Demarcation Wine Company and Utopian Seed Project Chef, Terri Terrell, for a three-day collaboration centered around thoughtful food, small-batch wines, and community-rooted work that extends beyond the table.
Expect focaccia sandwiches layered with spring ingredients, seasonal sides, and a wine spritz made with Elizabeth’s vermouth, alongside live music each afternoon.
Their work helps support women in wine education and Utopian Seed Project’s mission advancing resilient regional foodways.

To say we’re excited for this weekend is an understatement.
Getting to be a place where friends, neighbors, and curious folks passing through can slow down, relax, and take in these mountains really means a lot.
This Saturday, come hang out on the hill for live music, Smasheville’s “life-changing burgers,” and plenty of good wine.
We open at 2pm!
Two days, two moods.
Saturday:
Jazz guitar from Ethan Winograd + Smasheville serving up the kind of burger that reminds you why classics exist in the first place.
Sunday (Mother’s Day):
Sweet Cub soft serve, a glass of Petit Manseng, and Adrianne Blanks Duo bringing the sultry, vintage soundtrack.

Mother’s Day, from Mom’s point of view.
What might she really want? A sundae drizzled in caramel or fudge, a glass of wine, and something a little unexpected… maybe even a little sassy.
Sweet Cub Soft Serve will be here, wines by the glass or bottle, and Adrianne Blanks & the Oracles Duo setting the tone with sultry jazz, original music, and cocktail noir styling.
A relaxed afternoon, made for lingering. Family-friendly. No reservations needed.

Hot pizza. Great wine. That’s the plan.

Wine (2–7)
A Saturday with no plans is still a plan.
This Saturday, Benny’s Pizza is rolling in with New York–style thin crust (2–6), and Kessler Watson is setting the tone with Appalachian strings from 2–5.
The nice part is, they both call Leicester home. Feels fitting.
Wine flowing all afternoon.
Tasting room open ’til 7.
Come as you are. Leave the lists and the hurry behind.

Stupid Events is bringing something worth showing up hungry for.
Chef Brett Suess will be here Saturday for a one-day-only pop-up—thoughtful, a little unexpected, and made to pair with a glass of wine on the hill.
Marley’s Chain will be playing through the afternoon, so it’s all set for an easy stay-a-while kind of day.
No reservations. Just come hungry.
