Arreglista, director y educador musical de la República Dominicana. Guzmán es actualmente director del programa de jazz y profesor de música en Luther College, en Decorah, Iowa. Ha escrito numerosos arreglos corales de música tradicional caribeña y latinoamericana; algunos de ellos han sido publicados por Oxford University Press y Boosey & Hawkes en su serie Latin Accents. Ha dirigido coros, bandas y orquestas en Norteamérica, Centro y Sudamérica, Europa, Asia y el Medio Oriente.
Guzmán posee un doctorado (Ph.D.), un certificado en Pedagogía de la Teoría Musical y una maestría de la Florida State University. Obtuvo su Licenciatura en Artes en Luther College y cuenta además con un título en Ingeniería Electromecánica de la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, en Santiago, República Dominicana.

Here is some more information on Tony Guzmán:
Arranger, conductor, and music educator from the Dominican Republic. Guzmán is currently director of the jazz program and professor of music at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He has written many choral arrangements of Caribbean and Latin American traditional music; some of them published by Oxford University Press and Boosey & Hawkes in their Latin Accents series. He has conducted choirs, bands, and orchestras in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Guzmán holds a Ph.D., a certificate in Pedagogy of Music Theory, and a master’s degree from Florida State University. His Bachelor of Arts is from Luther College. He has a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

In May 2025, I had the honor of premiering this work in New York City at Aaron Davis Hall. This performance is part of my ongoing work as a scholar and performer focused on Central American music, and reflects my commitment to bringing underrepresented repertoire to the concert stage!

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariel Pirotti is a celebrated pianist, composer, arranger, conductor, and educator whose work has reached stages across Latin America, Europe, and the U.S.
Director, pianist, and arranger of the Tango Orchestra of UNA, he has collaborated with icons like Susana Rinaldi, Horacio Ferrer, and Juan Carlos Cuacci. His artistry has earned major recognitions, including support from the National Fund of the Arts and the prestigious “Gobbi de Oro 2011.”
He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Argentine Consulate in NYC, the Argentine Embassy in Washington DC, and Casa Argentina in Rome—bringing Argentine music to audiences worldwide.
