Ls400 guys rejoice!!! It has come to our attention that our supercharger brackets are not fitting as best as it can in the LS400. We are actively making a supercharger bracket to fit a UZ inside of an LS400. This bracket may work in another chassis but based on what we see in fitment most will need to you the other brackets that we offer (always ask if the bracket will fit your chassis). Finally got most of the body kit on the car just in time for Super Saturday @oswdrift . I’m super happy with the car. Of course, there are some things that can always improve. Centrifugal supercharger kits for the UZ engines coming in hot!!! I got to say this is a match made in heaven with how it sounds. Rick is using our Vortech supercharger bracket to mount a Vortech V3 Si blower onto his 3uz swapped Sc400. Gearbox is a 6 speed ZF manual transmission. Rotrex Supercharger kits are coming for the UZ family of engines! On May 1st we will be taking orders for the Procharger and Vortech kits that we have already revealed but the Rotrex kit is coming soon. It currently is in the testing phase and done with prototyping. We do not have a released date for the Rotrex unfortunately but we will keep you updated. We are so happy to be the first to offer a complete bolt on kit and support many blowers at the same time. Its easy, affordable, attainable and already proving to be a great combination for power. Centrifugal Supercharger Brackets for the UZ family of engines are now coming to market May 1st. A few days ago 1UZtech revealed for the first time that his car “goldie” is equipped with a Procharger P1X blower. The bracket kit was made by Adapt Lab and has been in development well over a year (closer to 1.5). The vortech car has been driving with that Vortech and bracket since last summer with zero failures or issues. Supported blowers brand are as follow: Vortech, Paxton, Procharger, Rotrex. The Rotrex will come at a later date. ALL BLOWERS MUST BE CCW ROTATION (counter clocwise). These brackets will bolt on al UZ engines whether it is non vvti or vvti. This bracket will clear with a/c and still work without a/c. Vvti engines may have to modify ac line at compressor. For non vvti engines still using distributors there will be an option to add a bracket to hold the ignition coil on the driver side as the original bracket will be in the way. This is the HIGHEST BELT WRAP supercharger system on the market period. Depending on pulley size it will range from 220-240 degrees of wrap. During testing and high rpm applications there has been no belt slip. This is only a mounting kit. Kit comes with: precision powder coated bracket, studs, nuts, precision spacers, smooth iders, ribbed idlers. Bracket is 304 stainless (for max rigidity) and weighs 5.5lbs. Individuals who swap the UZ into a foreign chassis, we have a extended Vortech bracket that will move the blower in a better position for intake and radiator clearance: Is300/Altezza, Nissan S chassis, Ae86, etc. We do not have a Procharger bracket for those chassis yet at this time. We cannot guarantee good fitment in every swap chassis so we will offer to make custom brackets for your specific application if need be. Eli goes over the E36 Ti drift car (Ti Fighter) and its setup for when we take it out drifting. There is an experimental product we have currently installed that takes inspiration from our “coolant bypass restrictor” made for the UZ family of engines. As you hear in this video the coolant temps on this car rarely ever get over 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The Koyo radiator and oil cooler do an amazing job at extractor heat to keep the engine reliable. Coupled with custom fan shrouds and spal fans, it has become a hot lap monster. We still have more testing to do on our cooling product but it hasnt let us down yet. It’s been a rough week battling this car, but has been a confirmation a step back from competition was needed to focus on refining the small things with the chassis, relearning the machine, and most importantly having fun driving it! I will in no way be stepping away from drifting, or driving less, but I will be shifting my focus to pushing my driving and my personal limits again, and working out all the limits of the car so we aren’t fighting against them when it comes time to lineup on the competition grid again! Another huge shoutout to everyone who has shown their faith and support thus far this season, and I hope that this change is better for us all in the long run, especially considering the relief of not competing frees up time for some car show/meet appearances, an some cruises, on top of multi day events!!
