It has been a privilege to contribute these photographs to the book dedicated to the legendary Orient Express,
@orientexpress released alongside the “100 Years of Art Deco” exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris,
@madparis on view until April 26, 2026 (book and postcards available at the museum store).
The train is being reimagined by architect Maxime d’Angeac
@maximedangeac whose vision blends contemporary refinement with the spirit of the original design, creating a meaningful dialogue between past and present.
Through my work, I wanted to illustrate this dialogue by combining historical elements—such as fabrics, lamps, and artifacts—with newly designed pieces, allowing both eras to coexist within a single frame.
Thanks so much to Maxime and
@frontline.studio founder Masha Kontchakova
@masha_kontchakova for the commission and opportunity to be part of this amazing project.
