Malaysia, life here is so colorful. Stop #2 was in Johor Bahru, aka JB, directly across the bridge from Singapore. There is a fast growing industrial sector here.
Still in Malaysia, Stop #3 was Melaka along the southern coast for the weekend. This had a very popular night market with so many different options for food, drinks, and desserts.
I found some street murals in Malaysia, with some very unique styles on display. All in all, this was a great way to end our trip before heading north to Japan.

Singapore, wow is an understatement! Stop #1 on our 2.5 week work trip. The speed of modernization of this island country is amazing and should be studied. It was a great way to adjust to SE Asia climate and get my camera tuned to street photography.
All of these skyscrapers were built on the last 50-60 years. It definitely has one of the most unique skylines in the world!
The infrastructure has grown exponentially in that time with a fantastic train system around the ~40 mile island.
If you like gigantic engineering feats, take a peek at the full scope of the Gardens by the Bay or Jewel at Changi Airport. This is what government-level infrastructure should be focused on creating.

Forest Flow in Japan, what a trip! Feels like I am still processing everything that I was able to see in a short time.
This was on the last day in Chichibu, Saitama and @kiwamissimo was took me to this beautiful spot near his home and filmed this video with me.

Kyoto Day 1 with @rencarnara !
Lucky to meet up across the world in the middle of Ren's traveling after SE Asia for the last few months.
Kyoto was as such a good contrast of incredible historic sections mixed with modern Japan, with an energy around every corner.
I think I heard the most different languages here more than anywhere else. It was incredibly dense with temples, gardens, and statues. Would go here again in a heartbeat!

Farewell to Japan, I am going to miss you!
Thanks so much to @kiwamissimo for showing me around his local area of Chichibu, Saitama.
We fit a lot into 24 hours, including a flower festival, mountain shrine visit, and fire jam. The gorgeous nearby mountain range literally made my mouth drop around every corner.
This was my first chance exploring the mountains of Japan, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I cannot wait to come back to see them again!
