This is The Five Senses. Five panels of one painting connected with one single line moving from left to right creating the life of this artwork. They are cut into five pieces in order to lay focus either on one of our senses at a time to reflect and also to be able to switch placements with each other to create different visual experiences to trigger our sense of sight.
I especially like to explore this with listening to the album “Trance Life” by Alex Serra. With that, to trigger my other senses I prefer to light an incense, maybe have a cup of tea and even touch the painting by following the line and figure out once again how the structure of each character and shape has come to life.
I use this paining to explore my mind, open barriers and the universe within by letting my mind journey into the unknown like an open eyed meditation. Truly powerful.
Started a small clothing brand with a friend. We made a few limited edition designs of hoodies and t-shirts. To honor our story together and arrival date to earth we decided to name it Fated and keep all designs to a limited number of 21 pieces per design.
