Christmas at The Royal Albert Hall! 🎄✨
Such a joy to work on projects here at the hall for the last two festive seasons.
Although due to a lot of questions in my DM’s, I realised that I never actually posted about the craziness of last year. 🤪
With 4 hours notice (and a very quick and not actually finished tech!) I was thrust on to the stage again after 10 years of not performing to appear in a queer Christmas love story/festive celebration opposite my gorgeous pal Sandi Toksvig. Aptly playing the role of Albert Hall I had to ‘come out’ in front of 4000 people and search for love. Definitely not something I had on my bingo card!
Honestly had such a hoot of an evening, and was lucky to stand in the wings beaming at the stunning LTA dancers, who were the reason we were there in the first place.
One thing I’m pretty confident about in myself, is my ability to always say YES, and to figure out the rest later… which might not be the best strategy, but it sure does make life entertaining! 🤗
