In the midst of life’s storms, it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed, to question, and even to feel distant from God. But precious one, this is precisely when we need to hold on to Him tighter than ever before. Don’t let your struggles pull you away from the Cross; let them lead you to it!
Just like the powerful lyrics of the song playing, “May your struggles lead you to the Cross instead of pull you away from the Cross.” This deeply resonated with me yesterday as I was studying the Word. The scripture that truly struck my heart was Genesis chapter 39, verses 20-21, the incredible story of Joseph.
Think about what Joseph endured: despised by his own brothers, sold into slavery in a foreign land, unjustly accused, and thrown into prison. Yet, through every single struggle, Joseph never turned away from God. He held on, even when tempted, even when it seemed like everything was against him. And what did the scripture say? “But the Lord was with Joseph” and showed him steadfast love and granted him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. (Genesis 39:21). God was with him through it all.
I don’t know what you’re facing right now, what heavy burdens you’re carrying, or what trials are testing your faith. But I am here to remind you, with all my heart, that even in your struggles, God is there. Don’t let your difficulties become a wedge between you and Him. Instead, let them be the very reason you lean into His unchanging love, His unwavering presence, and His perfect plan. Hold on to God, He’s holding onto you.

Sometimes God allows you to sit in a dark season, not to punish you, but to reposition you. To make you put Him FIRST. To strip away every false source of trust so you learn He alone is enough.
This isn’t just a content for me, it’s a declaration. The past few months (and honestly, years) have tested me in ways I never expected. There were days I felt forgotten, moments I let doubt drown out faith, and seasons where God’s promises felt like a distant echo. But here’s what I know now: Every struggle was setting me up for surrender.
And here’s the truth: Your darkest moments can become your greatest testimony. I’ve learned that the hard way. But now? I’m done running. I’m fully surrendered, ready to put God and His Word above everything. Ready to be a voice for Him, because I know what it’s like to need hope in the middle of the mess.
If that’s you today, tired, broken, or feeling too far gone, hear this: You can STILL come back to God. In Christ, everything is made new (2 Cor. 5:17). Your past doesn’t disqualify you; your pain isn’t pointless. God’s not done with you.
There’s NOTHING He can’t restore. Nothing He can’t heal. Nothing too hard for Him. Keep believing. Your breakthrough is coming. 🙌🔥
