Bla Bla Bla — a performance by Adelaide Cioni. 18 April, 17:00–17.30, Sala Pegasus, Spoleto, free entry—limited seating. @ad_cio Bla Bla Bla is an exploration of language and visuality: “A performance lecture on infinity or, a bunch of questions with impossible answers, revolving around patterns, translation and the human condition (and yes, thank god there will be pictures).”

I’ve Touched” is an artist’s book I’ve made with the help of the wondrous Federico Antonini on the occasion of the show “True Colors” at Maxxi L’Aquila. #ArtistSpotlight – Adelaide Cioni Adelaide Cioni’s (@ad_cio ) practice stems from drawing, and from there it expands into spatial installations, textiles, and performance. The images Cioni uses are drawn from natural elements and from abstract decorative patterns she has long researched—motifs that recur from prehistory to the present day across the Earth. The materials she works with, mostly textiles, give a strong sense of tactility. Her work is about being human and living together in this world, each of us in our unique, diverse, singular body. It speaks to all kinds of audiences—from children to the general public to more art-oriented viewers. It is a body of work that does not judge but offers images, environments, music, and dance that may gently shift people off their center, allowing them to recognize parts of themselves and imagine other possibilities for coexistence.
