Watched Dug Dug yesterday.
A sharp yet deeply empathetic satire on how belief, spectacle, loneliness, media, and social anxiety together create “miracles” in our times. What stayed with me most is that the film never laughs at ordinary people — it observes them with tenderness and honesty.
Loved the restraint, the rooted performances, and the quiet humour carrying an undercurrent of sadness. The absurd slowly becomes frighteningly real. A beautiful example of how simple storytelling can reveal complex social truths.
