For my birthday this year I made a promise to myself…
To become the healthiest, strongest, clearest version of myself.
I wanted to prove to myself I could do it.
That I could do anything I put my mind to.
So I set goals
Got a therapist.
Got a life coach.
Got a trainer.
Got a Nutritionist.
Deleted social media so I could focus on myself. I was locked in, baby!
I booked this photoshoot with @spearmanstudios 11 weeks in advance to stay accountable and so I could look back and say “I did that”
To lose the weight I started eating clean, and training hard (shout out to F45!)
Outside the kitchen / gym I was in therapy: Painting. Writing. Journaling… Exploring whatever creative avenues I felt led to.
Now let’s talk the diet.
Basically, the diet sucked:
No alcohol
No sugar
Clean protein
Strict calorie deficit
Strategic fasting
Gym 6x/week
TONS of water
8hrs sleep every night
But fast forward to now, I’m in the best shape of my life; physically and mentally
This was hard. Really hard
But I wish I’d done it sooner:
Improved my health
Faced some inner demons
And yes, ate more chicken and spinach than humanly possible
You can see the change on the outside for sure. Especially when @spearmanstudios makes me look like a walking JC Penny model with her camera lens.
But when I look inward, I see someone I’m proud of.
To everyone who checked in along the way
Thank you
It meant a lot
(Except for the guy who tried to claim my house thinking I was dead. Not cool, bro)
Anyway, now I’m back, And I’m sticking around for a while, even if the weight-loss doesn’t completely.
Speaking of which,
I’m eating some cheesecake, dammit!
I think I’ve earned it. 😁

I know what you’re thinking…
“Did he get a haircut recently?”
The answer’s yes.
Took a few inches off the top…
And about 40lbs off the midsection.
Yeah, these kind of thirst traps aren’t usually my thing.
But it’s been a hell of a journey, so I figured “why not?”
And @tatem.spearman ‘s lighting? Too good not to share.
Life update coming soon… 💇♂️by @mimmchristian btw

Well, summer is officially over… and wow, what a summer it’s been!
This summer will go down as a season of reflection, growth, and leveling up, strengthening my mind, body, and outlook on life. This summer, I found a deeper sense of self-worth than ever before and rooted in who I am. I stopped questioning my value, started owning it, and as a result, my world has shifted in ways I never could have imagined. I can’t wait to bring this mindset into the next chapter as we head into my favorite time of year: fall (and more importantly, HALLOWEEN 🎃).
To mark the occasion, @t.spear.man asked me to do a beach photoshoot while it was still warm. It felt like the perfect bookend to such a transformative season.
And don’t worry; I may have lost a few pounds, but I definitely made up for it in sunscreen… SOME things never change 😉
Enjoy the pics!

This past spring, I decided to reawaken my passion for painting with a piece I’d been wanting to do for years but kept putting off. I wanted something vibrant, colorful, and bold, so what better than a scene that looks like it was ripped straight from the comics?
This was such a fun project to work on, and I love it so much that it now hangs in the foyer, greeting me every morning. Check out the process!
Salem here was recently diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately didn’t have very long before it took him. But his memory lives on! It was an honor to immortalize him in this portrait for @actorstephaniems
I meant to post these earlier but I got caught up in thirst traps and sappy inspirational posts that I COMPLETELY forgot to give you people what you really came here for: pictures of small children who I claim to be related to for appearance purposes, but are actually just paid interns of mine. It takes a village, y’all. And adult labor ain’t cheap. These kids work for low wages, and don’t ask dumb questions like “is this legal, uncle Jason?” And “are you ever going to feed us? We’re starving!”. With work ethic like this maybe there’s hope for the next generation afterall.
