Payton Thomas as “Understudy”!
Payton Thomas is so excited to be a part of this production of Dear Evan Hansen, a show he has had stuck in his head since it first came out when he was in middle school. He is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Select recent credits include Jerry Lee Lewis u/s in Million Dollar Quartet (Tuacahn Center for the Arts), Melchior in Spring Awakening, Sammy in The Wedding Singer, Kenickie in Grease, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, and a featured singer in the musical revue “The Story Goes On: Songs of Maltby & Shire” (directed by Richard Maltby Jr.). @officialpaytonthomas

MK McDonald is grateful to return to A.C.T. of CT for Dear Evan Hansen. Most recently seen as Ensemble/Anna Cover in Frozen. Laura Elizabeth Flanagan is making her A.C.T. of CT debut! She hopes this will be her first of many times doing this beautiful show. Earlier this year, Laura did two nearly opposite shows, playing Miss Scarlett in Clue, and an 11 year old Irish immigrant on the Erie Canal… it’s giving range.
