For over a decade, we’ve collaborated with @spotify ’s in-house creative team to design and build digital experiences that make listening feel personal, expressive, and worth sharing. From Song Psychic to Playlist in a Bottle, Supergrouper to Get Ready With Music, and Wrapped for Artists, each project explores a different way of turning data into something people can see, play with, and recognize as their own. These experiences are shaped for both fans and artists, translating listening into moments of reflection, curiosity, and connection while also creating new ways to spotlight and give back to the creators behind the music. All of them built through close collaboration, where strategy, design, and engineering move as one. Grateful to continue building with a team that consistently pushes what listening can become.

Tried our hand at this grid splitting effect, experimenting in Houdini using recursive subdivision in a solver. Original inspiration from @roberthodgin 🙌

We partnered with Polymer Labs - a blockchain infrastructure company that enables secure, seamless communication between chains - to deliver a full rebrand. Inspired by anime, we created “The Polyverse.” A flexible identity system anchored by Block, a character who represents a source of truth within the platform. A combination of 3D design, motion, and a futuristic visual language, transforms Polymer from abstract tech into a character-driven, narrative-led experience.

Wrapped is no longer a solo sport. For 2025, we built Wrapped Party in collaboration with the @spotify in-house creative team turning individual listening trends into a live, multiplayer music experience at scale. Proud to keep building what’s next for the world’s biggest cultural moments. 🎵: @plan8music

Our very own, Luigi De Rosa, has been named an honoree on ADWEEK’s AI Power 50. Seeing him mentioned among this list speaks volumes about the work he’s driving here. At Active Theory, we’ve always believed AI is not a shortcut. It’s a system. A tool that expands craft. A new layer of possibility when paired with taste, restraint, and technical depth. Luigi has helped define how we think about that intersection across the studio. This is a big moment for him. It’s also a reflection of the kind of thinking we’re building on every day. Proud is an understatement. Massive congrats, Luigi.

Our partnership with @siriusxm focused on defining digital experiences that can adapt across themes and platforms, grounded in audience-specific behaviors. We designed a flexible framework made up of modular components, allowing the team to iterate quickly while maintaining a consistent level of quality and coherence. By distributing variations across contexts, SiriusXM was able to test what resonates with different audiences and learn what drives performance over time. The result was a repeatable approach that supports ongoing iteration, stronger alignment across teams, and commercially relevant insights without compromising craftsmanship.

When a company evolves quickly, its digital platform has to evolve even faster. We worked with @anduril_industries to create a resilient, flexible interface designed to scale with their technology - a platform that supports new products, new capabilities, and new operational requirements without slowing teams down. This wasn’t a redesign. It was infrastructure. A system built to grow with one of the most ambitious defense-tech companies in the world. Grateful to collaborate and proud of the Active Theory team that shaped it. A platform built to match their pace of innovation.
