Unfortunately my time with @hepmotorsports has come to an end. For the past two years I have been able to get up everyday and do what I always loved to do and that is test suspension. To have the opportunity to go to the track everyday, come home build more stuff and go back over and over is something I will forever appreciate. People/the team would give me a hard time but being at the track testing is truly what I loved to do. I wouldn’t say I’m happy with the way it ended, but that’s life, and I am proud of what everyone involved accomplished. Thanks to @kenroczen94 Active ride is one of 3 suspension companies to win a 450 main event and maybe the only company to win the mxgp class at mxdn. To achieve what we did while getting to see the world along with my son @aidenandruk was something special. I truly gave every ounce of energy I had into making the guys love their bikes and I’m going to miss going to @motosandbox , working with @kylechiz11 and both of us brainstorming on what might be good. I kind of don’t know what I’m going to do with myself to be honest. With that said I have some opportunities, but being so close to the season I’m not sure if they will work out. I plan on returning to customer work and will probably be back out at tracks/races shortly.
Good luck to everyone at Lorettas. Sucks to not be there this year, (my van broke down on the way up Saturday) So I’ll be forced to watch on Racertv. Everything has been so busy that I have been constantly thinking of ways to do things more efficiently. I spent a huge amount of time standing at a parts washer in the last year and had to find a better way. I searched trying to find something that could clean automatically, and came across ultrasonic cleaners. I can’t really wrap my mind around it, but basically it vibrates the dirt and oil off using sound waves. Turn it on and all the dirt and oil just comes off in a cloud. It cleans everything, every hole, between shims, even fork tube rust comes out from inside the fork guard bolt holes. It’s going to save so much time.
I always say I’m going to post all this stuff on social media when I go to Mini O’s or any other race for that matter but then get there, get busy and forget. Well this year was no different.. here’s a few photos from the race.
