Active Projects Build of the Week. It took three versions to earn the distinction. Right away, this bike became our go-to. We always want to ride the tandem before all our other options. We've ridden just over 1,550 miles on it and can't wait for the next spin together after work tonight. Check out how we turned the @salsacycles Powderkeg into a gravel race bike on @activeprojects . 2.4s are the new 42s Pictured: Just a couple miles from a planned stop and in the middle of climbing a hill, we wanted a picture of our bike with this cool rock during Mega @midsouthgravel . Love this machine.

In one short week, I’ll be lining up for the Tour Divide for the third time. A lot has changed since the last time I raced the 2,700+ miles to Mexico, including myself, my setup, and my approach. I’ll be riding a @chumbausa flat bar Yaupon titanium with all the hand positions. Bags were expertly designed and made by my good friend Andrew Strempke @dispersed.bikepacking and I’ll be running a suspension fork and drivetrain from @rockshox and @srammtb Plenty of time to enjoy the ride down the spine of the continental divide, so for now I’d like to thank my beautiful wife @mickellemarie for putting up with me and my desire to push myself to the beyond, and for my crew at the shop @cyclecitykc I wouldn’t be able to tackle this without all of you 📸 - @james______moes of @activeprojects
