As part of the assembly, delegates and artists were invited to experience the Rebel Resistors Radio Club installation by @actionherolive
exploring the manifestos and messages recorded by young girls across the globe and accessible via the analogue red radios as a new kind of ‘social network’

We’re really really happy to have been longlisted for the @artangel_ldn Artangel Open 2025. It’s an anonymous application process and there were over 1000 ideas put forward, and we made it to the final 40.
.
We’ve had the idea for Satellite of Love for a while, but kinda assumed that we’d never be able to really make it. So it’s a brilliant thing to have our biggest boldest ideas taken seriously. We still want to make this project, and I believe one day we will. Maybe @nasa or @europeanspaceagency is commissioning new artworks?
The airwaves are being hijacked! 📡✨
We’re handing over to Rebel Resistors Radio Club for a 24-hour Instagram takeover. Get ready to tune into a world built by 11-year-old Rebels who aren’t just imagining the future, they’re building the tech to reach it.
The Rebel Resistors Radio Club is a drop-in experience where a DIY spirit meets profound provocation. Using analogue technology, these young creators are constructing radios and writing manifestos to challenge the status quo.
Follow along on our Stories, to see where they’re heading and the questions young girls raise ahead of RRRC FREE drop in event.

CAN A BILLBOARD BE ART? 👀 Take a look!
Reminiscent of magnet poetry, this art by @actionherolive + @mia.and.eric questions how we shape our public spaces.
By (de)constructing Lethbridge bylaws & (re)building them, these artists have (re)imagined our city through the lens of a dreamer.
We're not sure how many there are in this project, but we found a couple for you!!
WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything about this project.. & not only because of what it's replacing!
This installation reminds us how powerful art can be as a tool to confront modern conventions..
..& you know we adore a good bylaw challenge 😉
More than 800 people came to M Shed at the weekend to take part in From Ashes 🏢🏗️
From Ashes, by Bristol-based artist duo @actionherolive , invited the public to become part of the artwork. Participants were asked to gently brush away a thick layer of ash to reveal a delicate paper reconstruction of Bristol.
This work encourages reflection on the city’s place within environmental and political changes and invited audiences to come together and imagine Bristol’s potential futures.

From Ashes is TODAY 21 Feb & TOMORROW 22 Feb at M Shed in Bristol. Come down any time 10:30-4pm, help us uncover Bristol from beneath the ashes.

Over the past 9 months, Action Hero- together with the citizens of Bristol- have build a model of our home town out of paper. Hundreds of people across the city have participated. This weekend we’ll be at M Shed @bristolmuseums where the city we’ve built will be covered in ash. Together, we will uncover it in an act of hope and repair that leaves the city still standing. We’re so proud of this work.
.
Thank you to the builders of Bristol, and to our superbuilders who each built at least 50 houses in their own homes.

Setting up From Ashes at M Shed in Bristol. Over the past 9 months we’ve been building a miniature version of our home town, together with 100’s of Bristolians all over the city. Together we’ve constructed 2000 paper houses, and this weekend we’re going to cover the city in ash, and invite you to come and gently uncover it with us. @bristolmuseums
