Bikini Kill @ 1020 Bar in 1996. I bought a zine from @mskathleenhanna after the show, and she asked me to send copies of these photos to the address inside. But my friend and I didn’t have a ride home, so we spent the night walking around the city until the trains started running again, and somewhere along the way I lost it.
Life update: Evie Dando (also workshopping Evie Von and Evie Harrington) of East Orange, NJ came to live with us today.
She is the newest addition to a list of poorly behaved, beagle-ish street dogs Aubrey and I have adopted since 2005.
The kids liked her at first but are kinda over it because she only knows one trick and doesn’t like to wear costumes.
Twenty years ago, I recorded some footage of Cold Sweat on tour in California. Shortly after, I released their second LP and shortly after that, they broke up.
.
The tapes from that tour went into a box, which then went missing for two decades. The audio’s blown out and the miniDV looks like trash but they were such a sick band. It was great to see them again in another lifetime.
