Du 02 mars au 02 avril, 18 villes du Val d'Oise et de Seine-et-Marne accueilleront des spectacles français et/ou européens pour 60 représentations à destination des tout-petits et des plus grands aussi. Temps fort du festival, le Forum européen, les journées professionnelles des Premières Rencontres, revient les 12 & 13 mars avec une nouveauté : une journée complémentaire le 14 mars consacrée entièrement aux familles. 'Oiseau de Lune' est une performance intimiste, née d'une fascination pour l'apparition de la lune sous toutes ses formes. ✨ CARAVAN at Premières Rencontres Festival After two initial residencies in Almere and Sabadell, the CARAVAN project continues its European journey and gathers in Villiers-le-Bel (France) for its third residency, within the Premières Rencontres Festival: Art, petite enfance et spectacle vivant. This new phase creates more time to deepen the work: to experiment, to share practices and to develop artistic proposals rooted in early childhood contexts. ⌛ The first days focus on immersion in early childhood environments. Artists spend time in nursery schools observing, listening and sharing moments with children and educators. Exploring the role of the Artistic Mediator in CARAVAN 💭 Within CARAVAN, the role of the Artistic Mediator is something we are continuously exploring. Artistic mediation in early childhood contexts unfolds through practice, listening and the relationships built between children, educators, artists and families. It shapes how the artistic experience develops and supports everyone involved. 🔎 Rather than defining a fixed position, the mediator sustains a process where nothing needs to be achieved for the experience to be meaningful. By connecting artistic languages with the daily realities of early childhood, they help build trust, shared understanding and a common language rooted in care and sensitivity. 💙 Across different countries and contexts, this role becomes essential: creating spaces to reflect together, to share practices and to develop artistic processes that recognise children as active, competent and sensitive subjects.
