If I’m being honest, I would have killed for something like this when I was starting out. I spent years stumbling around in the dark, basically pulling tools and advice from a hundred different people and places, hoping something would click. Most of it didn’t. That’s why I said yes to being part of this year’s Gifts for Actors Giveaway. 17 of us are giving away 18 free resources for actors, May 20th through June 3rd. My gift is is the Actor Career DNA Decoder and The Side Door Challenge. I created the decoder to answer the very question I had: WHY, if I’ve got an agent and I’m continuing to work on my craft, am I still not getting the auditions I know I’m ready for? The Decoder (her name is River, and you can talk to her) will answer that question in about 5 minutes flat. And once you know the answer to that, you’re going to want to fix it.That’s what the Side Door Challenge is for. If you’ve been feeling like you’re trying to figure all this out alone, you don’t have to. The VIP List opens today. Two bonus gifts from the host @powerhouseactor hit your inbox the moment you sign up. Comment LINK and we’ll send it to you straight away. #GiftsForActors2026 #ActorsLife #WorkingActor #ActorResources #ActorTraining

Today’s the day 2 of the Side Door Challenge, and I’ll be honest with you, this is the one thing I wish I’d had when I was trying to rebuild my career from scratch in Munich with zero connections and zero idea how to get in front of casting directors. It’s not about hustling harder. It’s about finding the door that’s already open. Comment SIDE DOOR and I’ll get you in. #sidedoorchallenge #actbold #actorsofinstagram

You don’t need a massive network. Just a small handful of actors can make the numbers move in your favor so you’re getting paid for the very training and connections you’d normally have to pay for. It isn’t a magic wand, it’s real work that actually pays off for your bank account and your career. Comment SIDE DOOR for the step by step plan on how to build your first curation with your own small group.

This is the part where people usually hesitate. Not because it’s complicated. But because it’s different from how they’ve been told this career is supposed to work. You’re used to being the one trying to get into the room. This flips it. You’re the one putting the room together. That changes how people respond to you. And it changes how you see yourself pretty quickly too. If you want to try it with support, comment SIDE DOOR and I’ll send you the details.

Honestly, the industry loves to back actors into a corner with this impossible choice. Do you spend your last $500 on a scene study class or a crowded networking mixer? It’s a trick question that keeps so many talented people feeling stuck and invisible. The truth is that neither half works without the other. There’s a better way to build your skills and your circle at the same time, and the best part is that it actually pays you while you do it. If you’re ready to see how this works step by step, comment Side Door and I’ll send you the details.

This is the part people don’t love hearing at first. Because it means you can be doing all the “right” things and still not getting the result you want. That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It just means the pieces aren’t working together yet. Once you start looking at it that way, it gets a lot easier to see what actually needs to change. If you want help figuring that out for your own career, comment SIDE DOOR and I’ll send it over.

I see this question all the time. And I get why. Because if you’ve only got time or money for one thing, it feels like you have to choose carefully. But most actors I talk to have already tried both… just separately. More classes. More events. More “put yourself out there.” And somehow it still feels like nothing’s really changing. There’s a reason for that. If you want to see what’s actually going on underneath that, comment SIDE DOOR and I’ll send you the link.
