2025 has been a crazy year. Nothing is linear. Often it’s 2 steps forward 7 steps back. Hold on folks things are gonna get better. Throughout my life when I need a break or to process something, I go to a park or gym and shoot or play pickup. I told him ‘Im a hooper too’ and the best player on the planet dapped me up like that meant something.

Screen grabs from the unreleased documentary 'Still Alive in Paris'. I flew from Saskatchewan out to Paris Fashion Week, and Bremen Germany this summer to DP this doc project for @stillaliveparis , and then watch a cut screen for a select audience at a @hilite.global PFW event. It felt like a fever dream, but there were moments in the exhaustion and chaos where I took the time to really be present and grateful for the experience I was having, knowing how rare these opportunities are. Adventures like this were what 12 year old me only dreamed of growing up a world away in Regina. 🙇♂️🎥

Trying to keep up with these posts as new episodes come out. Episode 3. Of the doc series I DP'd took us to Bodegas Albamar in the area around Sanxenxo on the Galician coast. The vines there are so close to the ocean that they are grown on pergola raised canopies to avoid the moisture and tide. This adds a slight salinity to the wines and presents some unique challenges to the growers.
