Last week, we were proud to host our third Future Ready Forum at ACS International School Cobham, bringing together educators, industry leaders, parents and students to explore one of the most important questions facing education today: how do we prepare young people for a world being reshaped by AI?
Held in our new collaborative learning space, The Nexus, situated in the heart of our Upper and High School, the event reflected the very spirit of innovation, connection and forward-thinking education that defines ACS Cobham.
At ACS Cobham, we believe education must do more than prepare students for exams, it must prepare them for life. As a progressive, forward-thinking school, our broad and flexible curriculum empowers students to think critically, communicate confidently, collaborate creatively and adapt to an ever-changing global workplace.
The conversation highlighted the growing importance of distinctly human skills, creativity, emotional intelligence, curiosity, resilience and ethical decision-making, alongside technological understanding and AI literacy. These are the capabilities that will help students thrive in the future of work.

From ACS International School Cobham to the world stage at Spa-Francorchamps, we couldn’t be prouder of ACS alumnus McKenzy Cresswell. 🏁
Now competing as a McLaren GT3 Junior Driver, McKenzy will race in the International GT Open 500 at Spa for Greystone GT, driving the McLaren GT3 EVO.
After an impressive single-seater career that included nine race wins and eight pole positions across British F4 and GB3, McKenzy made the switch to GT racing and the results have been exceptional.
Highlights include:
🏆 2025 GT4 Winter Series Champion
🥇 Victory at the Nürburgring in the GT4 European Championship
🏎️ Pole position and win in Barcelona as part of the McLaren x Elite Talent Pathway
Alongside his success on track, McKenzy is also studying Motorsport Engineering at Oxford Brookes University.
At ACS International School Cobham, we are incredibly proud to have supported McKenzy throughout his journey and to see one of our former students thriving at the highest levels of international motorsport. We’ll be cheering him on at Spa and beyond! 👏🏎️

We are delighted to share that ACS International School Cobham has been named the winner of the BSA Supporting International Boarders Award.
Presented by the Boarding Schools’ Association, this is a significant national recognition for our boarding community. The award is judged by leaders from across the boarding sector and celebrates schools that demonstrate exceptional care, belonging and support for international students.
We are especially proud because this marks our second major boarding award in just two months, following our Best European School Award, which was voted for by our international boarding agent community.
To receive two such prestigious honours in quick succession is a powerful endorsement of the strength of our boarding programme and the dedication of the staff who make every student feel at home.
Our Head of School, Robert Crowther, was there last night to receive the award on behalf of the entire ACS Cobham community.

For decades, we’ve been proudly transporting students from across our local community, throughout South West London, and as far south as Guildford, making the journey to school part of the ACS experience.
From our early buses to today’s modern fleet, things have certainly come a long way! We now offer a wide range of transport options, including convenient door-to-door services and shuttle stops, all designed to support our families, even our very youngest learners.
It’s wonderful to see how much has changed over the years, while our commitment to safe, reliable transport remains the same.

At ACS International School Cobham, our grounds have always been more than just a backdrop, they are an extension of the classroom. Last week our Middle School students brought literature to life, reading Shakespeare surrounded by the beauty of our bluebell-filled woodland.

Last week, more than 100 students from across ACS Cobham, Egham and Hillingdon campuses, alongside peers from Alconbury School, came together for our annual Model United Nations conference, MUNACS.
The theme this year was sustainability and security, which challenged the student delegates to develop two pressing global issues, addressing ecosystem collapse as a threat to international security and strengthening the regulation of cross-border trafficking of illicit drugs.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from the US Embassy, who opened the conference with a keynote speech exploring the nature of global security, from food security to cyber threats, setting the stage for thoughtful and informed debate.
Working as a General Assembly and Security Council, students demonstrated outstanding diplomacy, collaboration and critical thinking as they debated resolutions and worked towards consensus.
The students did a fantastic job communicating effectively, thinking critically and ultimately working together to imagine a better world.

We were delighted to welcome Dr Nicola Council, an expert veterinarian and member of our ACS Cobham parent community, back on campus to inspire our Grade 5 & 6 students 🐾
After supporting our Tech of the Future projects earlier this year, Dr Council generously gave her time during a family visit from Arizona to co-create and deliver a hands-on lunchtime Vet Skills Club. Together, we designed a 6-session programme introducing students to real-world veterinary techniques in a safe, age-appropriate way.
From diagnosing patient “cases” to practising suturing, creating IV simulations, exploring ultrasound (with a very special canine guest!), and learning surgical prep skills, our students fully embraced every moment.
Beyond the technical skills, this experience gave students a valuable opportunity to explore a potential career path, build confidence, and engage directly with a professional in the field. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and respect throughout have been fantastic to see.
A huge thank you to Dr Council for bringing learning to life in such a meaningful way. Experiences like this are what make ACS Cobham truly special. 🌍✨
