Who do you think would win a Food World Cup 🏆?
Since the FIFA World Cup is coming to Canada for the first time ever, we thought it would be fun to run a similar tournament with food, not football!
And with Toronto being one of the most diverse food cities in the world, we made our own bracket based on the real World Cup groups and plan on visiting local restaurants in the city and putting comparable dishes head to head until we have a winner 🥇
📍Location: Toronto

Even though I’m really connected to my South Asian and Tamil roots now, growing up, a lot of my influences came from other Asian cultures. Most of my friends as a kid were either Chinese or Vietnamese and that encouraged me to try so many types of food.
And to me, one of my favourite things I learned about was family style hotpot during my University days. It’s such a wholesome and fun way to enjoy food and I’m just really thankful having been exposed to it growing up because it allowed me to get comfortable trying new dishes like we do today 🫶🏾
📍Location: At home with some OGs
