Jeff-Antoine Cote (he/him), is a percussionist, electronic music producer, DJ and sound designer based out of Toronto.
Jeff’s practice is rooted in the exploration of unique undertones in sounds, bass and rhythms. This has been accomplished through operas, baroque music concerts, art installations, and various audio/visual performances. Acote manipulates a vast pool of echoes and soundscapes according to the energy in a room, developing a personal bond with the viewer/listener/dancer.
Sharing the stage with international acts such as Djrum, Aurora Halal, Laurel Halo, Simo Cell, Hodge, Ciel, Shaggy, Drake and many more, Acote consistently delivers an eccentric and memorable performance as a DJ and live act.
His latest release ‘WL’ on Air Texture was featured on DJ Mags top 50 compilations of 2025.

This Sunday! To help celebrate Geary Art Crawl, we are uniting many of Torontos favourite audio and visual artists, drawing from different corners of the culture, to bring you a full day of immersive programming. All day into night we will be transforming the parking lot of Fab World into a multi-sensory wonder land for you to experience.
Featuring a musical line-up that has a focus on dub, left-field bass, techno, and house. Join us as we push the boundaries of genre definitions to new limits.
We will also be setting up interactive art installations, and Robb P will be keeping us warm with some home made hot apple cider.
This is a Free event but donations are encouraged.
Stepping into the new year with the utmost gratitude after another sold-out holiday show. Even though the weather was beyond terrible, Toronto still came out to support us. That kind of love gives us a focus that keeps us creating and trying new things for our fans.
The holiday show is more than a performance. It’s a chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and connect with everyone afterward. Talking to people we haven’t seen in forever, reflecting on how everyone is doing, and sharing what we’ve been up to is what makes it feel like a real community. Being part of that together each year is something we don’t take for granted.

Earlier this year Ciel hosted a fantastic release party for Place - a compilation of some fantastic Toronto-based producers. Ciel really did some digging to find these artists and set up a lovely evening of live performances from some of Toronto's finest electronic artists. Among these artists one really stood out for their music and live performance skills - Acote. (@acotesounds )
It was truly an amazing set and since that fateful day back in May I've been striving to get Acote into an event for another live set. So glad to have finally got this settled and happy to share Acote will once again be sharing some of his super sick bass driven live electronic vibes with our audience this Thursday.
