Sana I made you proud po HUH? LOL! 🤭💗 Pasalamatan ko na rin ang @upsamaskom dahil kayo ang nagbigay buhay sa mga fantasies ko sa life. Without you, I would not be the person I am now. Without you, I feel broke like I'm a half of a whole; without you, I've got no hands to hold (Sad Song by We the Kings). 🥺 At syempre, big thanks and appreciation din sa mga friends, relatives, family, classmates, profs, acquaintances, smk advisers, nanay ni ally, daddy ni mj, etc na napaka-OA sumuporta sa akin. Bukod po sa moral support, nangangailangan din po ako ng financial support hehe 👉👈 Indeed, my 2024 is full of suprises. Kaya naman this coming 2025, I just can't help but be excited and enthusiastic for the good things that are about to come. Happy new year everyone and let's claim that 2025 will be our year! ✊💯

Ang “bagito” ay hindi lamang kwento ng isang binatilyo, ngunit kwento ito ng isang napakahabang kasanayan at pagdiskubre sa sarili. Sa hindi ko mabilang na sulok ng Metro-Manila nagbunga ang napakaraming kwento. At ngayong binabalikan ko ang mga ito, mas lalo kong nakikita sa kung papaano ako lumaki bilang isang taong napakaraming pananaw sa buhay. Matapos ang apat na taon ng paglalakbay ko sa kolehiyo at sa mundo ng pagpepelikula, bitbit ko ngayon sa aking pag-uwi ang mga kaalaman at istoryang nais kong ikwento sa iba. At sa bawat hakbang, sa pag-ikot ng mga gulong, at pagtawid sa mga kalye ay unti-unti nang nabubuo ang aming istorya. Kaya naman, habang papalapit na kami sa yugto ng produksyon ng aming pelikula, muli kaming kumakatok sa inyong mga puso. Para sa huling pelikula kong gagawin bilang isang istudyante, nangangailangan pa rin si “bagito” ng suporta para siya ay tuluyang maisakatuparan. Malaki man o maliit, ang bawat ambag ay magiging malaking tulong para maiuwi namin ang aming pelikula sa Bulacan. Ngayon pa lamang, lubos na kaming nagpapasalamat para sa mga patuloy na sumusuporta at susuporta pa sa aming proyekto. Muli, samahan niyo kaming ikwento ang istorya ni bagito. Sharing another big win for this semester! 🙏🏻 It was my first time being casted as a main character for a friend’s thesis capstone. It was very experiential kasi si self vs si self agad ang bakbakan! 👥 Aside from being a robot in the photos, I also did the role of a pasarap but sinful flagellant for their short film EME NOT EME HAHAHAHAHA! 🤣 However, what’s more fruitful from this experience was the immersion of being an actor being directed for a whole day shoot. Coming from directing perspective, nakakaoverwhelm minsan yung mag-direk because of the pressure of putting your expectations into reality, and sometimes it falls short. This fear sometimes leads to actor’s being reduced into how we see them through camera’s. “Favor the camera,” “pababaan ng exposure,” “lungkutan mo pa”. Through this, we fail to capture not only the moment, but its essence. The why’s of film, and for the actors, “bakit malungkot?”. Actors should not only feel and express, they have to understand. Yung history ng characters, yung relasyon niya sa ibang tao, paano niya nakikita ang mundo, maging yung mga bagay na hindi natin nakikita sa kamera, kailangan niyang maintindihan at angkinin. Only then, mas mararamdaman natin ang bigat ng isang taong buong buhay niya ay kinokontrol siya ng mapanikil na sistema. And I think Direk Ron has effectively helped me to internalize the characters. Because he knows very well where the characters are coming from, and he made me that character. 💯✅ Pasensya na sa unsolicited chika, pero hayaan niyo na ko mag-share minsan lang naman ‘to HAHAHAHHA OA! Reluctant leaders, as they call it. Some of us did it out of spite, out of FOMO, or out of pressure, but no matter what the reason may be, I would never change this line up for the world. We powered through even when the fire was burning out. We powered through all the sleepless nights, the mental breakdowns, and psychological warfare of balancing full academic loads while leading an org as big as ours. We powered through even when we thought we couldn’t. We powered through together. Exec 50 isn’t just an executive committee, this is a family. We may now be signing off as SAMASKOM’s Exec 50, but we’ll never sign off as a family. P.S. Powering through as Exec 50 wouldn’t have been possible without our extended family, 4NFC.
