NEIGHBORS CLASS DUMP!!! Feeling beyond grateful to share the stage with (most of) these people in 2 SOLD OUT shows tonight! What a journey it’s been (some of this footage is from like a year ago oops) but proud of how much we’ve all grown in that time frame. Beyond moves, dance is like language to me and it’s been nothing but a joy, honor, and privilege to learn to “speak” the visual language of my peers. To do so in front of an audience is a gift every time and can’t wait to do it again! All love, forever proud 🏠♥️ cc: @sanderson47 cc: @christabelletan cc: @taylor.mcgovern @_hayleymcgovern cc: @nyenver @samanthachapa cc: @kristinakimm cc: @nygel_s @samanthachapa cc: @bee_jay_gee

On the eve of competing again with @theneighborsnyc I wanted to post some bts footage of the section myself and @sanderson47 worked on last season. Neither of us are necessarily “floorwork” people, and the pace of the song was far too slow for traditional breaking, so this was a fun challenge and ended up being super rewarding in the end. Shout out @nyenver @ko_choy and @missdivyaraj for being along for the chaos, and again to Sophie for being such a joy to collaborate with. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! (also I posted this on the train so bear with me with the audio and crops being a lil messed up) 1 - Final product 2 - First freestyle of standing choreo just mapping out musicality 3 - First draft of floorwork, pretty broken up but solid checkpoints 4 - Second draft, little more added plus the revelation to literally hold each other when he says “hold” 5 - Third draft, section is full but need to iron out timing/execution 6 - 90% the full floorwork section which just minor tweaks made before the final version 7 - After finally having the floorwork on lock, mapped out the standing choreo real quick to complement the movement being done on the ground (hard to walk in that tiny ass studio) 🎶: Ghostin by @wesleyjoseph__

I’m chronically bad at posting my work, but this was a choreo project I did for @theneighborsnyc a couple months ago. It was a super emotional and fulfilling season (iykyk) and I wanted to partly express gratitude for dance in general, but also for all the lovely people in the room. At the time I was really trying to lean into having more fun and taking things less seriously and I hope that comes through :) Still grappling with perfectionism and if I’m being honest still struggle to feel proud about my work after it’s done. That’s not to say I don’t feel good about what I make, cause most of the time I do. I’m just chasing growth constantly and end up looking at everything I do as a stepping stone onto bigger and better things, rather than enjoying what I made in the moment. This piece definitely fell victim to that and I found myself not being 100% content with what I made, wanting to make changes immediately. Now that I’ve given it some time to settle, I still may make changes, but I wanted to make sure this version saw the light of day, raw audio and everything. I think it’s a good reminder that dance is also about sharing space in addition to individual expression. Trying to get more comfortable allowing work to be a rough draft I can grow with, rather than treating it like a finished product that isn’t “good enough.” Still chasing growth and trying to be better everyday, and that includes being better at vulnerability and kindness with myself. If you read all of this, I appreciate you! And if you didn’t read all of this, can’t even blame you lol sorry for yapping 🧠: yours truly 🎶: drive ME crazy! @lilyachty 🎥: @christabelletan

when into this class trying to focus on fun and in case you can’t tell fun was certainly had. saw the green lights and after hearing the rhythm of the choreo tapped into my theater kid origins and clocked it was wicked in the first like 20 minutes before the song even played lol I used to always be the type in school that when a teacher asks a question and the room is just kinda silent and no one wants to answer, I’ll bite the bullet and raise my hand to break the tension. so when @isidroirehi called for any one person again and the room lingered for long enough I stepped in grateful for dance, grateful for the energy in that room, and grateful for community in general. cup feeling extra full rn 🙏🏻 🧠: @isidroirehi 🎶: Dancing Through Life - Wicked 🎥: @seleneirehi

first class in socks ✅ first solo in class ✅ @isidroirehi described this piece as stemming from gratitude and I’ve really been feeling that heavily lately so when he called for one it just felt right. such a beautifully, buttery special release of a piece. always have been such a harsh perfectionist on myself and it was healing to have put fun first and the moves second for a change (even tho I did homework this a lil because it just feels so damn good). what a joy it is, truly shoutout to the homies and everybody else I danced with for the energy 🧠: @isidroirehi 🎶: @allenstone “Sweet Little Rainbows” 🎥: @seleneirehi

I’m chronically terrible at posting so here’s a 2 month late dump from last year! I don’t really know what it is that makes me such a fly on the wall on this app rather than actively contributing and posting myself. If I had to guess I’d say that it’s mostly from perfectionism and overthinking, leading to me labeling portions of my life as “uneventful” and therefore not “worthy” of posting. Yeahhh…so that’s BAD and such an unhealthy way of thinking and I’ve been slowly rewiring my brain out of that to take all this stuff less seriously. That being said, 2024 was honestly a life changing year for me and though I’m late and didn’t do it in the moment, (and my camera roll is mostly filled with NJ transit screenshots) I’d still like to celebrate the people in my life and some moments shared together. If you’re in any of these and/or you read all this, it’s all love and I’m so grateful for you💜

Threw some new 8 counts together. SUPER rough draft definitely want to clean up my lines and maybe add some more (and maybe do another take when people aren’t trying to sleep…whoops) but we get there when we get there. For now, here’s to the process!

New year new choreo. I’ve never really been one to post often and have been pretty hard on myself in the past about what I’m doing and creating, deeming it “unworthy” of sharing. I feel I’m very authentic in my day to day life but what I post hasn’t reflected that so the goal is to be more open with that I do and what I create this year. Here’s to the journey and creative process! Song is 311 by @jordanward btw

LONG time no post but my quarter life crisis begins today so I’m coming out of hibernation. I’ve taken a lot time for myself these past couple years and done a lot of growing in that timeframe. Really worked on showing up for myself and being a little kinder to that guy in mirror. It feels weird to be 25 just now feeling like I’m becoming the ideal version of myself I wanna be. Would’ve been nice if it didn’t take a quarter of a century but hey that’s life baybee. I haven’t posted in 2 years but did make a lot of great memories with great people in that time frame so these pictures are some of the highlights. Shoutout to all the friends and family who’ve been a part of my life these past couple years (in these pictures and beyond) for all the good and the bad. Thanks for helping make memories and continuing to motivate me to be a better person each day. Much love and here’s to growing ❤️
