We built Acid Moons around one idea: that Indian craft, when done right, doesnât need to be called traditional to be relevant. It just needs to effortlessly translate to the ânowâ.
Linen is one of the hardest fibres to weave by hand. Itâs stiff, it breaks under pressure, and it demands a weaver who can feelâthrough the resistance in the threadâexactly what the fabric needs. No machine can do that. Only a few weavers in the Phulia cooperative have built that skill with linen. The result is cloth that has real character. A slight texture you can feel. A drape that gets better over time. Something a power loom simply cannot produce.
