When I look at this picture that’s exactly what I see: two generations of strong women and one in the making 🧸💓 Lately I’ve been looking at photos asking myself which tarot card I’d choose to describe them. Would you agree on my decision?
“So Ends the Glorious World.”
That’s the title of @Selou_Sowe ’s current exhibition, which I saw a few days ago. It was genuinely mesmerising. In the midst of what felt like slimy glitter growing out of a bombed building, I found myself unexpectedly light-hearted and strangely understood.
With a slight grim on my face, I soon realised there is only one card in a tarot deck that could truly sum up the complete distortion and collapse of power structures.
