Desire Doué is turning into a serious name in football already, and this is exactly the sort of shirt collectors like getting tucked away early before the hype goes mad.
Nice clean PSG signed shirt, fully checked over by the ACGcert® team and added onto the database under certification number AG16854.
The reality now is non-authenticated signatures are starting to hold less value in the memorabilia world. Collectors and buyers rightly want more confidence before spending their money, especially online.
That’s why we work alongside memorabilia companies and dealers to provide independent third-party authentication alongside the company’s own guarantee. The hobby’s changing fast, and third-party authentication combined with a seller guarantee is becoming the future of memorabilia collecting.
One big season or tournament and pieces like this suddenly become a lot harder to get hold of. Proper future player.

Bryan Cranston
Walter White – Breaking Bad
A proper in-person Cranston.
Strong, confident pen flow straight through the “Bryan” — no hesitation, no patching, no slow drawn lines. The downstrokes carry weight, and the signature keeps its natural rhythm even across a busy image.
This is where a lot go wrong.
You’ll see plenty of Walter White autographs online that look cleaner than this… but that’s exactly the problem. Real-world signatures — especially on glossy photos like this — aren’t perfect. They move, they adapt, and they carry speed.
This one does exactly that.
Positioning across the centre, clean ink lay, and a signature that sits naturally with the image — all signs of a genuine live signing environment.
As always with ACGcert®:
• Exact item image on our public database
• Individually QR-coded hologram (AG27216)
• Reviewed by multiple authenticators
• Unanimous pass decision
Scan the hologram. View the exact item. No guesswork.

Maradona Signature analysis
Left — genuine in-person example. Quick, natural, confident. Exactly how Maradona signed.
Right — the kind we see all over online marketplaces. Looks clean at first glance, but it just doesn’t have the natural flow… feels slow and a bit laboured. The letter shapes aren’t quite right, the angles are off, and the overall construction throws up a few clear red flags.
If the ACGcert® team had £1 for every Maradona forgery we see online… we’d probably be sitting in the pub with Elon Musk every Friday night. Dripping in gold and Botox.
Maradona is one of the most forged autographs in the hobby. Once you’ve seen enough real ones, the difference becomes obvious.
If it doesn’t feel right — it usually isn’t.

CONTROVERSIAL QUESTION FOR UK COLLECTORS
Why are so many people trusting American companies to authenticate UK football signatures?… when many of them have had little real exposure to these autographs in person?
Training ground signatures..
Quick hotel autographs.
Older UK legends signed in rushed conditions.
These aren’t neat private signing examples pulled from a database. These are real UK hobby signatures with years of natural variation.
And another honest question…
Where is the 20+ years per authenticator of genuine in-person experience collecting UK football autographs?
Because collectors have seen some shocking forgeries passed by major brands simply because the company name is big enough to avoid scrutiny.
So what matters more today…
A) Real autograph expertise
B) A famous label that helps resale value 👀
Are some collectors buying the sticker… not the knowledge?
It’s what plenty are thinking… but few are willing to say out loud.

NEW CERT ALERT👍🏻
AG27147
Recently certified by ACGcert® — a superb Harrison Ford signed fedora, linked to one of cinema’s most iconic characters.
Why was this signature authenticated?
Our team assessed this example against known genuine Harrison Ford autograph references gathered over many years. This particular example shows all the hallmarks of an authentic in-person Harrison Ford signature.
We would class this as an autograph likely signed in person at a public appearance — such as a film premiere, press event, or fan meet-and-greet. Signatures obtained in those environments are often quicker, shorter and more rushed due to time pressure and crowds.
Even taking that into account, this is a very good in-person Ford example. We have seen many genuine in-person Harrison Ford signatures with far less detail and much shorter execution than this one.
The autograph showed confident pen flow, natural rhythm, correct letter structure, and smooth movement throughout. The ink characteristics also supported a genuine live signature, with natural pressure changes rather than the flat appearance often seen on copied or printed examples.
Ford signatures can vary depending on era, pace, and signing conditions, so context always matters. After full review, this piece met the standards required to pass ACGcert® authentication and has now been added to our secure database as AG27147.
A standout display piece from a true Hollywood legend.

Meet the Founder of ACGcert
Q&A with Mark Kirkup
Q: Who are you?
I’m Mark Kirkup, CEO & Founder of Authenticate Certify Grade Limited (ACGcert™️). I started collecting autographs in 1999 getting sports signatures at the training ground with my nephew, before moving into film and entertainment autographs. I quickly saw the value genuine signed items can hold.
Q: How long have you been involved in the autograph world?
Around 27 years now.
Q: Why launch ACGcert?
UK collectors needed a proper UK-based service run by genuine autograph people with real first-hand experience. I’d also seen the faults in old autograph clubs and associations. Collectors deserve transparency and authentication with real value.
Q: How many experts are behind ACGcert?
We have a large team headed up by 10+ signature consultants. Every team member has at least 20 years experience in the autograph industry. Every item submitted is checked by at least 3 members of our team.
Q: What problem in the industry needed fixing?
Too many forgeries being sold unchecked. Fake items slipping through marketplaces and auction sites for years without enough people challenging it properly.
Q: Biggest red flag?
Slow-hand forgeries with stop-start pen movement, hesitation and shaky lines. Genuine signatures usually have natural flow and confidence. If it looks laboured or carefully drawn, alarm bells should ring.
Q: Why trust ACGcert?
Because we’re collectors ourselves with decades of first-hand experience. We know signing habits, changing styles and real-world autograph behaviour.
Q: What makes ACGcert different?
Transparency. Every item we pass is photographed and added to our public database so collectors can view the exact item linked to the certification.
Q: Best autograph you’ve had?
Getting Robert De Niro on a Goodfellas photo outside a London hotel after midnight.
Q: Final message?
Use ACGcert with confidence. We care about collectors, protecting the hobby and giving honest opinions every time.

Erling Haaland signed Manchester City shirt, signed neatly on the number in black marker pen. Great placement and a strong modern football piece.
After yesterday’s winning goal, demand for Haaland memorabilia is only going one way. His signature is always sought after by collectors, and he’s not the easiest signer to obtain consistently, which only adds to the appeal.
With that demand comes risk. We continue to see plenty of questionable Haaland signatures in the market, including examples that have passed through other authentication routes. That’s why experience matters.
At ACGcert®️, our team is built on decades of real in-person autograph collecting knowledge — not quick desk opinions or database-only checks. We know what genuine signing habits look like because we’ve seen them first hand for years.
