The official kick-off brunch for Dark Force Fest is at Catfight Coffee on Friday morning. We have limited-edition drinks and pastries available only at the shop. Catfight Coffee is only about 5 minutes away from Dark Force Fest and is a great way to see what our amazing Boonton Underground scene is up to.

This was taken at the Key Club at the final show for the ' Beyond the Valley...' album campaign. We had such a great time-Joey was recording the Subliminal Verses album at the Hodinni Mansion, and I stayed there for Murderdolls rehearsals in Joeys room. Eventhough Joeys drums were finished, he stayed and continued involvement on the album, after all, Slipnot was his baby. I got to hear all the ghost stories of the place and learned a lot about guitar tones from that visit.

Happy Birthday, Jerry Only! This was the first time we met, at the NAMM show back in 2002 (with my boy Eric Griffin), and another time from watching The Damned when they supported us back in 2019. Every person who has met Jerry has a story, and it usually involves some act of kindness. To be honest, when I joined the band 10 years ago, I was sort of over the music business. I met so many people who had it all and were seemingly miserable. Jerry has it all and isn't miserable for one good reason. He doesn't squander what he has. He gives it back.

Hard to believe that a year has passed since playing Coachella! A lot of people ask what it was like. Honestly...no matter where you go in the world, people are fans of Jerry, Glenn, and Doyle. In that regard, it was just another awesome show with the 138 showing up in full force.
One thing I hadn't considered was how important that festival is for pop artists. That show can make or break a band, so everyone brought their 'A' game. So, it's a great place to see bands you may not care to see normally. You might be surprised! Lady Gaga was great, and there's no denying Benson Boone. Besides that, I got a new guitar, met the Yo Gaba Gaba band, watched the Prodigy, met Bernie Sanders and paid 30.00 for a coffee and a cookie.
I enjoyed my Coachella experience. Except the 30.00 coffee and cookie.
