📍 ACE in the West/Midwest The ACE Mentor Program of Las Vegas hosted its first-ever Trades Day on Saturday, March 28, bringing together more than 20 vendors, trade partners, and trade unions. 🙌 Students and parents from Trade Tech and Clark County schools experienced hands-on activities that showcased what real careers in construction and the trades look like. 🏗️ Here are a few moments highlighting pathways into the built environment. 🎉 #acementor #aecindustry #mentoringprogram

Congratulations to Team Jigsaw for securing 2nd place at the 20th CIRT Competition held in Washington, DC! Students from Advanced Technologies Academy, Caleb Little, William Guild, Darin Nguyen, Miguel Martin, and John Sanchez, took on the challenge of developing a design proposal for modular and technology-enabled construction. With over 85 submissions across three design challenges from teams nationwide, only the top 9 were selected to travel to Washington, DC to present their work in front of a panel of CEOs from the industry. Caleb Little served as the team’s presenter, delivering their proposal to the judges and helping secure a spot in the top 3. The team was later invited to present again in the final round, where they ultimately earned 2nd place overall. We are extremely proud of their achievement! Big shoutout to Justin Warner (Klai Juba Wald Architects) and Shrijan Shresta (WSP) for mentoring this team.
