My new @distortiondynamics collaboration with @skullphone is now available at @acdgallery ⚡️⚡️This collection Skullphone and I explored art and themes around the damage and destruction artificial intelligence is having on our perception of reality, on what we read, see and believe, and how once we feel nothing is real, everything becomes nothing to us. We treated the graphics as lyrics, coming up with several phrases to emphasize this concept, like “The call of the void”, “Race to the bottom”, “Hallway of Mirrors”, “When nothing is real, Everything is nothing”. The graphics were either painted, created with markers, or printed and rescanned in a repeated cycle to create optical distortion and variations. All screen printed locally in LA. Materials are ultra-luxury, using cotton from Portugal, or in the case of the two black T’s fully 100% recycled cotton from Los Angeles.
