Our ACCESS 55th Anniversary Dinner brought together voices from across our diverse communities to celebrate a legacy of service, resilience, and impact. What started as a grassroots movement has grown into a leading institution that continues to uplift, advocate, and create lasting change - from the neighborhood to the nation. Shukran/Thank you to our dedicated supporters who ensure this work continues. ❤️
Twenty years of service and this community keeps showing up 💪

Even though #ArabAmericanHeritageMonth has come to an end, we continue to honor and celebrate Arab American contributions and history.
One of those contributions is the role of Arab American youth in shaping change and impact in the U.S.
The first picture above is from ACCESS’s (@accesscommunity ) summer youth program in 1996, where youth gathered to learn, build community and explore how they could create change.
The second picture is from the Center for Arab American Philanthropy’s (@centeraap , a national institution of ACCESS) Teen Grantmaking Initiative, a program that has been running for over a decade, where youth create impact by fundraising and awarding grants to organizations.
There is continuity in Arab American youth leading change across generations!
Our deepest gratitude to all our wonderful sponsors who made our ACCESS 55th Anniversary Dinner possible.

For National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, our team hit the ground running to ensure no survivor has to navigate their journey alone. We spent the week connecting with:
- MDHHS Child Protective Services (Partnering with family professionals)
- Sterling Heights Public Library (Denim Day awareness with families & teens)
- Detroit Criminal Justice Center (Engaging with justice system partners)
- Henry Ford College (Reaching students, faculty, and staff)
Our mission? To break the stigma, spread awareness, and make sure every survivor; especially those in underserved areas; knows that safe, confidential support is always available.
Together, we’re building a community committed to healing all year round. 🤝✨
#NCVRW2026
