Nicole Jordan is a passionate education professional who has dedicated her career to empowering students and expanding access to higher education opportunities. Since beginning her work in the education field in 2011, Nicole has remained committed to guiding young people toward discovering and achieving their goals beyond high school.
A proud alumna of
@wssu1892 , Nicole earned her undergraduate degree in english with a minor in psychology in 2010. In 2013, Nicole relocated to Virginia to further her professional journey. She later earned a master’s degree in urban education and community counseling from
@norfolkstateuniversity .
Nicole’s career expanded within the Virginia Community College System, serving students at Paul D. Camp Community College and Tidewater Community College. In 2022, Nicole transitioned to ACCESS College Foundation, where she currently serves students at the historic
@icnorcomhigh in Portsmouth. In this role, she works closely with students and families to ensure they are informed, prepared, and confident about life after high school.
What Nicole finds most rewarding is witnessing her students thrive. Seeing them gain acceptance into colleges, pursue career pathways, and continue to update her on their progress after graduation warms her heart and reaffirms her purpose. She takes pride in being a consistent source of encouragement and guidance during one of the most pivotal times in a young person’s life.
Outside of her professional work, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She loves attending live entertainment events, including comedy shows and Broadway-style performances. An entrepreneur at heart, she also operates her own business, Smoothie Stand, where she vendors at events throughout the Hampton Roads area—bringing refreshing treats and positive energy to the community she proudly serves.
