✨We are proud to announce that acb Gallery will present Zsófia Keresztes’s museum-scale installation at this year’s Art Basel fair, alongside Endre Tót’s artist questionnaires, in the globally acclaimed Unlimited sector. Keresztes’s monumental wall relief was selected by Ruba Katrib, curator at MoMA PS1, to be shown alongside works by international figures such as Yayoi Kusama, Tracey Emin, Luc Tuymans, Matthew Barney, Thomas Ruff, Goshka Macuga, and Nikita Kadan. Zsófia Keresztes is the first Hungarian artist to participate in the Art Basel Unlimited sector, making her inclusion a historically significant milestone. 📸Éva Szombat

We are pleased to announce that acb Gallery will participate in Art Basel in Basel in 2026, one of the most prestigious and significant events in the international art market and contemporary art scene. Art Basel is not only a meeting point for the world’s leading galleries but also a key platform for global art discourse, where participation itself represents significant professional recognition. At the fair, acb Gallery will present a solo exhibition of Endre Tót (1937), a defining figure of Hungarian and international conceptual art, showcasing his unique mail art questionnaires. The selection highlights historically significant works, demonstrating how Tót became a key figure in the international mail art movement of the 1970s. 📸 @evaszombat , @atothdavid

🔴(english below) @szalay_sculpt idén is részt vett a Public Art Ferencváros programban, amely a IX. kerület nyílt pályázati köztéri művészeti kezdeményezésének keretében immár harmadik alkalommal valósult meg. _____________________________ 🔴 We are pleased to announce that Péter Szalay will once again participate in the Public Art Ferencváros program, which is being realized for the third time as part of the IX district’s open-call public art initiative. The artist’s installation titled The Throne will be on view at Ferenc Square in spring 2026. This special public artwork functions both as a community seating object and an interactive piece: the visual experience only becomes complete when passersby actively engage with it and use the bench. In this way, the work reflects on the relationship between power and community, while also involving the viewer as an integral part of the artwork itself. The installation was accessible between April 22 and May 5, 2026, at Ferenc Square.

🔴 We are proud to share that on May 11, Agnes Denes, a Hungarian-born American artist and a represented artist of acb Gallery, has been awarded the prestigious Moholy-Nagy Prize by the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design @mome_adm . This year, marking the 20th anniversary of the Moholy-Nagy Prize, the MOME has exceptionally honored two recipients: Agnes Denes, the internationally acclaimed Hungarian-born visual artist, and Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. Agnes Denes’ pioneering, more than six-decade-long practice is a defining reference in environmental art and conceptual art. Her works explore the relationship between nature, humanity, and the future, drawing attention to questions of responsibility, awareness, and hope. Warmest congratulations on this outstanding recognition! 📸 Lakos Máté, MOME

🔴 @janusko.klaudia ’s exhibition Served Right opened on April 30, at the Imre Bak space of acb Gallery and will be on view until May 29, 2026. Visitors are warmly welcome during opening hours, Tuesday to Friday, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The exhibition functions as a kind of imaginary journey through space and time, where narratives related to the female body, labor, and power are reconfigured. The space creates the impression of entering a fictional archive or a small museum, where objects from a lost, woman-centered world appear in a storage-like yet carefully composed arrangement. This situation places the viewer in an interpretive position rather than that of a passive observer. 📸 Réka Hegyháti

🔴 @janusko.klaudia talks about her exhibition Served Right, presented in the Bak Imre space of acb Gallery. It expands on her earlier work, which critically examined representations of women shaped by the male gaze, situating these inquiries within a broader theoretical and visual framework.

🔴 acb Plus | @stachuszumski : Cathedral of Deep Time on view until 29th of May, Tue-Fri 2PM - 6PM acb Gallery is pleased to present the second solo exhibition in Hungary by Stach Szumski, one of the most prolific and internationally recognized artists of the younger generation of contemporary Polish art. Cathedral of Deep Time unfolds as a spatial and conceptual experiment in which the space of acb Plus is transformed into an imaginary cathedral on a geological scale: a speculative site where the layered relationships between matter, form, and time become perceptible. 📷 @atothdavid
