🎥 🤔 What does it really take to light not one, but two @ESPN studios without slowing live TV down? For ESPN’s Studio X (@GetUpESPN ) and Studio Y (@FirstTake ) in NYC, @EasternLightingDesign needed a rig built for flexibility under pressure, tight timelines, and the realities of live broadcast.⏱️🎬 “The set is filled with wonderful textures and details… Our job was to accentuate those details,” says @mattgordonld , President & Principal Designer at Eastern Lighting Design. At the same time, the design had to stay ready for anything. “Because the show can be unpredictable, we created a design that could support lighting anyone, anywhere, at any time,” Gordon adds. The solution was a lighting system built for control, punch, and rapid adaptation.
