@ac3.tee99 solo show opening soon at etc. gallery, presenting new video works 💫✨ Anna Černíková: Covered in Grease, Still Running 14. 5. – 27. 6. 2026 Vernisáž/Opening: 13. 5. 2026, 18:00 Curated by: @nela.kla The first solo exhibition by Anna Černíková, Covered in Grease, Still Running, develops the idea of the body as a machine that can be repaired, adjusted, and rewritten. The new audiovisual works draw on motifs of various forms of labor and maintenance, which become a metaphor for attempts to repair not only things, but also the present and identity. Figures maintaining mechanical and digital systems reveal the cyclical and never-ending nature of these processes, while within repetitive activity a space for dreaming begins to emerge. The loop becomes a fundamental structure of experience, in which the boundary between body, tool, and image dissolves, raising the question of whether reality and identity can truly be repaired, or merely kept in operation. Maintenance thus appears not only as a necessity, but also as a symptom of a system that produces its own failures. The project is supported by the City of Prague, Prague 2 District, and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

𓇼 S potěšením vám oznamujeme, že 13. května zahájíme sólovou výstavu Anny Černíkové @ac3.tee99 kurátorovanou @nela.kla v etc. galerii 𓇼 Anna Černíková je intermediální umělkyně, která se ve své tvorbě zabývá proměnlivostí identity, tělesností a kulturní pamětí. Pracuje s pohyblivým obrazem, hudbou, performancí a instalací, skrze něž zkoumá tělo jako médium pro přepisování osobních i kolektivních zkušeností. Její práce často balancuje mezi snem a realitou, dokumentem a fikcí a využívá lo-fi estetiku, glitch a televizní jazyk jako nástroje destabilizace reprezentace. Inspiraci čerpá z popkultury 90. let, hauntologie i biopolitiky, přičemž tematizuje způsoby, jakými jsou těla a identity formovány normami, systémem a médii. V roce 2025 absolvovala na pražské UMPRUM. Věnuje se také hudební tvorbě, se kterou vystupuje pod pseudonymem A/C. V roce 2024 vydala EP Like a moth to a flame a v roce 2025 hudební album 5+2. 𓎢𓎠𓎟𓎠𓎡 𓇼 We are pleased to announce that on May 13 we will open a solo exhibition by Anna Černíková @ac3.tee99 curated by @nela.kla at etc. gallery 𓇼 Anna Černíková is an intermedia artist whose work explores the fluidity of identity, corporeality, and cultural memory. She works with moving image, music, performance, and installation, through which she examines the body as a medium for rewriting both personal and collective experiences. Her work often balances between dream and reality, document and fiction and employs lo-fi aesthetics, glitch, and the language of television as tools for destabilizing representation. She draws inspiration from 1990s pop culture, hauntology and biopolitics, addressing the ways in which bodies and identities are shaped by norms, systems, and media. In 2025, she graduated from UMPRUM in Prague. She is also active in music, performing under the pseudonym A/C. In 2024, she released the EP Like a Moth to a Flame, and in 2025 the album 5+2.

Minulý týden jsme zahájili novou galerijní sezónu výstavou Past told, future held 🎞️ Výstava prostřednictvím intimních videoportrétů odkrývá často neviditelnou práci spojenou s péčí o umělecké pozůstalosti. Zkoumá limity této každodenní péče a ptá se, na čí energii a čase stojí odkazy velkých jmen české scény a co je z nich pro budoucnost vlastně nejdůležitější zachovat. This video series was co-created as part of Petra Widžová’s @pewidzova doctoral research on artistic estates in the Czech Republic.
