Is a processed image the same object as the original, or is it something else entirely? This question can be approached through the Ship of Theseus paradox: if all parts of an object are replaced over time, does its identity remain intact?
In the case of artificial intelligence, the form and recognizability may persist, while the material basis of the image is completely reconstructed. The algorithm does not preserve the object but generates a model based on probabilities and data.
As a result, the image cannot be defined as entirely the same nor entirely new. It exists at the boundary between preserved form and lost authenticity, where identity becomes a matter of interpretation rather than fact.
