Letting yall step into my head for a second. This project is a dialogue of conversations I would have with myself/inner child to recalibrate during crisis. Literally alchemizing pain into passion. Y’all can literally hear me meditating on these songs. I was writing these on autopilot without thinking this time. And I wrote “Shift” when I was pissed off that I was pissed off & I almost threw the towel in because I kept permanently losing my work in the most ridiculous ways since I was 12 YEARS OLD bro. Every time I worked on projects; music, visual arts, dance, poetry, files were getting corrupted, mysteriously disappearing. or some kind of other uncanny damage. I was taking it as a sign to say forget about it, all of it….But my homies weren’t having it 😭🫶🏾 I see the whole picture now. Thank you source of all creation. All versions of me featured on this project. Had a lot of battles with mental health & art is where I would run to. It was the realest form of therapy for me. I was literally bout to let life bury me with my art but I simply can’t die with this in me. So cheers to freedom of speech. I’ll never doubt it again, I’m too obsessed with this shit & I am what I am My apologies if you thought you knew me in which this surprises you. Maybe I’m starting to make more sense to you now. Always told myself I would start releasing my art when I lost my mind & came to my senses so OMBRÉ EP Out Now on all platforms!!
