The rate at which my neighbours are converting to solar energy is intimidating. Few weeks into the US/Israeli-Iranian war, my 3 neighbours install solar panels. They are concerned about availability of electricity, they are worried about the cost.

Fisher peg was invented by Artur Fischer and is produced by fischertechnik GmbH in Waldachtal, Germany. As simple as this invention was, it has made a tremendous impacts in construction and engineering generally. It is used in education for teaching about simple machines, as well as motorisation and mechanisms. It has been copied, reproduced and used across the world. The lesson here is that development could be as simple, as little, as possible. Technological advancement is not limited to creating a jet engine that will get to Mars. If your creation can resolve the simplest of human challenges, you are a creator.

In a saner cline, our Prime Minister distributed food to prospective voters few days to election. Me: Democracy, e get as he be. Lesson: democracy is not an end in itself but a means to an end. An end in this parlance is good governance. Good governance itself has to satisfy local needs. In other word, it requires indigenous definition. We should avoid trying to copy verbatim what is obtained in the Western world. Not just because they not perfect but also many of their practices were designed to address challenges peculiar to them I bet you, if we organise ourselves better and get result, these people will study us in their class rooms just like we did studies them. Abi is stomach infrastructure no longer Fayose's?

#Historic A 16th century painting showing the skinning alive of a corrupt judge, Sisamnes, in the year 500BC. Sisamnes was a corrupt royal judge at the time of Cambyses ll in Persia. It was discovered that he took a bribe in court and passed an unfair judgement. As a consequence the king ordered that he be arrested for his corruption and ordered that he be skinned alive. Before passing judgement the king asked Sisamnes who he wished to nominate as his successor. Sisamnes, in his greed, chose his son, Otanes. The king agreed and appointed Otanes to replace his father. He subsequently passed judgement and ordered that Sisamnes removed skin should be used to upholster the seat on which the new judge would sit in court to remind him of the potential consequences of corruption. Otanes, in his deliberations, was forced to always remember that he was always sitting on the skin of his executed father. This helped to ensure fairness and equity in all his hearings, deliberations and sentences. Credited to Nah Militant

He spent his youth preparing for it. Fought where he needed to fight, played where he needed to play, gave where he needed to do so, schemed and supported others to accomplish their life long dreams. He even brought some people to the height they never imagined for themselves. And when the time was ripe for him they said he's too old. This life shaa! May God help us. He will go down in history to be one of the greatest president to ever rule Nigeria. Though my opinion: I came to that conclusion considering the fact that there is no other politician who had seen Nigeria as much as he does in such a close quarter. He knew what he wanted all this while and took it when it's best for him . Every of his steps, he knew he would be taking it and he knows what the possible outcome could be. He can predict voters, he knows labour unions, he understands our institutions, our diversity as well as our dichotomy. He knows our civil society and had delt with any of the elites groups you can think of in the country. May God grant him good health. He will surely plant the seed of prosperity in our country. God bless BAT.
