As a result of sudden and uninvited inspiration, the next Rotten Moon release has started to get its shape. Lyrically I am delving into the invisible world: the coming of spring is strengthening my bond with the old times and beliefs, and hidden signs are emerging under the frost. More news later.

THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER
When the first 40 tickets disappeared in less than a day, we felt it too.. That quiet, gnawing hunger for Pankraker Festival III. You've been patient. You've been asking. And now the gates are cracking right open.
The line up: a band crossing the ocean to play. A handful of Belgian and European mainland premieres. Fresh blood, handpicked - some artists stepping onto a stage for the very first time, right here. Others who have never touched Belgian soil. Until now.
There's a pre-festival show!
Why wait for the main event? We're turning up the volume early, setting the tone at our friends' place, The Pit's. Twice the noise. Twice the chaos. An erratic and malicious burn before the fire.

Still coming back to the weekend in Vilnius and Ætheric Echoes festival. Wandering in a city whose spiritual and cultural roots are deep in a pagan ground, finding symbols, hidden gestures... Last summer I made a hiking trip to Lapland – one week of heat, mosquitos and swearing, when the scenery of wilderness tricked us one time after another. Still, on the other hand, a strong connection to my surroundings and nature in general – understanding that we are not here to bend nature; it is us who should bend. We can’t see fully if we rise above this all; the way is to lie down and concentrate on the details. Rhythm your walk to the ant steps.
So the process began, and here are the results: “Harhapoluilla” tape is an intimate journey through my views and thoughts during that trip; mostly quiet music, but there are roars of thunder echoing in the horizon also. Field recordings, loops, real instruments and something otherworldly too.
“Harhapoluilla” is now out in a professional tape format. Includes small poems for the songs (an English translation insert available). Thanks to Ian / @aethericrecordings for seeing the forest for the trees, Eelis Haukkala for mastering, my father for recitation and my fellow hiker Heikki Pesu for guiding us home.

When spring is crawling under the fragile leaves already, it's Void Of Autumn's time to cast a different shadow over this all. Continuing its quest against modern traditions of consumerism and greed, this raw black metal act of mine creates visions of abstract dystopia/utopia, where our sins are finally redeemed.
Based on old drum tracks found from a dusty tape, "Change of Dawns" is a bitter drink of slow, poisoned black metal. Available in a tape format via @death.eternal now. Check the label's or band's Bandcamp page for the audial teasers.

In the shadow of the crosses... First time in Vilnius and the town's deep cultural and spiritual roots impressed me immediately. Also my performance at Aetheric Echoes went well - the connection between me and the audience was strong. Break the greed!
Thanks to @aethericrecordings for this opportunity, @ruusuriimu for the laughs, all the other artists and the people who made me feel welcomed.
Now a few days of rest and then two noisier attacks in Helsinki and Tampere.

Antti Klemi’s @absolutekey111 can deafen with blackend noise and industrial cacophony, and also wander through the mysterious poetic ambience of Finnish natural landscapes.
This new album, “Harhapoluilla” takes the listener on a midnight walk through old birch forests, abandoned villages, through creaking wooden doors, to a special inner landscape. Musically this takes the form of many strange samples, analog loops from cryptic sources and found sounds. Noise elements also occasionally take the forefront but the mysterious atmosphere never fades away completely.
The themes of the album, says Klemi, deal with “Images of deep forests, old spirits, the insatiable greed of mankind – and of nature’s revenge.”
Harhapoluilla is released on 100 gold cassettes with UV printing manufactured by @gotape.eu
It will be available at Aetheric Echoes on March 27/28 where Absolute Key will perform live.
