What special moments. Throughout the year, we've hosted the Absa Jazz Sessions at Marble in Johannesburg. On a festive note, the last Jazz session held, had that distinctive kind of vibe you feel long after it ends. The music, the energy, the laughter, and the way the room moved together shaped a day filled with rhythm, story and soul. It was a beautiful reminder that our stories shine brighter when we share them. #AbsaMarbleJazz #WeSeeYourStory #YourStoryMatters

Every story deserves a fitting finale. Cape Town brought the Absa Champagne in Africa Festival 2025 to a breathtaking close. Set against iconic views, over 20 premier Champagne houses, expressive art and thoughtful details came together to honour African excellence in its most refined form. Where French chic met African excellence. It was a journey told across two cities, unforgettable moments, and countless stories. #AbsaChampagneInAfrica #YourStoryMatters #WeSeeYourStory

From promise to full expression. Johannesburg took the story further, delivering an elevated night of elegance at the Absa Champagne in Africa Festival 2025. With 40 premier Champagne houses, fashion by acclaimed designer, Rich Mnisi and carefully curated gastronomy, every toast celebrated heritage, craftsmanship and excellence. This was where the celebration found its rhythm: bold, expressive and unforgettable. A fitting celebration of French chic meeting African luxury. #AbsaChampagneInAfrica #YourStoryMatters #WeSeeYourStory

Every great celebration begins with a promise. This year's Absa Champagne in Africa Festival 2025 opened on 12 November with an intimate sneak peak of what was to come. The continent’s leading voices gathered for a signature affair where world-class Champagne met the culinary artistry of award-winning Chef Wandile Mabaso. Every detail was considered. Every moment intentional. This was the prelude, the first chapter of a celebration where French chic would meet African luxury. #AbsaChampagneInAfrica #YourStoryMatters #WeSeeYourStory

Oil, fabric, and insecticide solution. These were the mediums through which we explored resilience at The Mix Design Hub in Accra. Recently, our 2023 Absa L’Atelier Ambassador, Edward Lawerh Dugbartey, invited us to look closer at "The things the street made beautiful." His work is a visceral exploration of survival, turning the raw realities of children living on the streets into a narrative of profound strength and unexpected beauty. If you missed the physical exhibition, the story continues online. You can now experience this powerful collection virtually in the Absa Art Hot Spot Gallery. Visit the link in our bio to view the work. #AbsaLAtelier #WeSeeYourStory #YourStoryMatters

Art knows no borders - it is the thread that connects us all. 🌍 We recently shone a light on the work of 2023 Absa L’Atelier Ambassador Eric Joe Gayi. His exhibition was more than just a visual display, it was a testament to the spirit of creativity that flows across our continent. Through his work, Eric invited us to engage in a dialogue about cultural connection and our shared identity. While the physical exhibition has drawn to a close, the conversation continues in the digital realm. You can now immerse yourself in Eric’s incredible body of work online at the Absa Art Hot Spot Gallery. Link in bio. #AbsaLAtelier #WeSeeYourStory #YourStoryMatters

From Ghana to Tanzania to Mauritius, every artwork carries a story, and every viewer interprets it in their own special way. We asked @kriyag at the Absa L’Atelier Art and Lifestyle Fair earlier this year which of the Absa L'Atelier Top 12 Finalists' art resonated with her the most, and the answer was as beautiful as the art itself. She was captivated by Ghanaian artist, @nana_pencil ’s artwork that expressed the rhythm of human movement through the mix of soil and clay. This is what makes Absa L’Atelier so special: break-through art that reflects the many stories of Africa. #AbsaLatelier #WeSeeYourStory #YourStoryMatters

At this year's Absa L’Atelier Art and Lifestyle Fair, art invited us in with colour, texture and emotion, and every person walked away with a story only they could have found. For @angelinemahlape , that moment arrived in front of a Basotho-inspired artwork celebrating women, culture and collective pride by @otengkeabetswe from Botswana. It was a reminder of how art carries culture and heritage forward. This is the beauty of Absa L’Atelier, a festival where African heritage shone through every piece of break-through African art. #AbsaLatelier #WeSeeYourStory #YourStoryMatters

Some artwork makes you pause, smile and think, “This feels wonderfully familiar.” This year's Absa L'Atelier Art and Lifestyle Fair was full of those moments. When we asked @alyssaauriel which Absa L'Atelier Finalist's art spoke to her, she felt at home in the vibrant, expressive world created by Marie @eglantine_radegonde from Mauritius. She loved how Marie's art felt fun and full of energy, and especially how this spirited portrait reflected her own carefree, curly-haired confidence. This is what makes Absa L’Atelier unforgettable, a celebration of the many ways we find ourselves in break-through African art. #AbsaLatelier #WeSeeYourStory #YourStoryMatters
