āFacetsā explores the many parts and iterations of her. The movement allows the dancer to explore a range of textures and movements encouraging the viewer and the dancer to expand their perspectives of women and of Self.

Reasons I didnāt want to post this:
-Iām āout of shapeā
-My turns are ābadā
-My technique isnāt back to where I want it
-My strength isnāt back yet
-I donāt like what it looks like
Reasons I posted:
-Itās okay to take it easy while coming back into the studio
-My technique didnāt disappear, it simply needs time to come back into my body
-IT TAKES TIME, doesnāt mean Iām less of a dancer because I took a break
-It doesnāt matter what it looks like, and it doesnāt matter what people think
- Showing up and staying consistent even when it feels yucky is key
Grateful for @michelle_thompson_ulerich class which always gives me a safe space to come back at my pace š¤
