About the exhibition: ✨The Latest Edition 2026✨ showcases 9 emerging artists who use printmaking as a means of questioning and discovery. For each artist, meaning emerges through process. Initial ideas, Images, and concepts concerning nuanced themes of self, interconnection, and change have transformed slowly through the materiality, repetition, and layering that is characteristic of printmedia–allowing depth of understanding to surface. You will also be able to set your own type and pull the prints off the Nolan Proof Press with the assistance of staff. All designs will be printed on specialty, scored, paper to create cards. You will take a set of five to share and spread the love! No previous experience necessary! A/P is pleased to host Lasting Impressions - our 2026 Member Exhibition! This international exhibition is NON-JURIED and registration is FREE! All current members are welcome to apply (and all are welcome to become members). Membership is $30/year and comes with many perks! $10/year for students. Artwork Details: Members are welcome to submit ONE completed artwork that incorporates print-based media with a paper size no larger than 15” on its longest side. OOOOO the beautiful detail you can achieve!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Ever wonder how those beautifully illustrated old books were made? With all those fancy lines and cross hatching? Picasso, Degas, Rembrandt and Francisco de Goya have all made famous works just with basic copper etching techniques! This course will cover the fundamentals of etching, including drypoint, hardground and aquatint techniques. Participants will learn how to use a traditional 15th century style printing press, to create their works.
