Reminiscing about this showstopper from three years back at Battello Restaurant. Designed with both fresh, dried and foraged materials; it sure was fun to make with @twigs.flowers.tea

The new year officially starts today (according to us)! All the good intentions, the new habits, the freshly organized home/office, all the new diets, the exercise regimens, the travel planning, etc. It all begins when you realistically come up with a couple of new ideas. Attempting too many changes all at the same time only creates chaos. For us, we’re keeping it simple. Spending a few more minutes cleaning up after every event setup. Preventing the mess from piling up in the garage 🙌🏽

How the day starts vs how it ends. After the planning & design with our clients taking notes la over the course of a few months, we source the finest seasonal flowers. Many of the fall flowers used were grown locally, while others were sourced in Holland & South America. Loading all the ingredients in the early morning hours and hauling them to the event venue. Smaller designs like low centerpieces and personal flowers are completed in our workshop. While larger centerpieces and ceremony setups are designed on site. It takes anywhere from 3-5 of us to spend our day working on creating the beauty you see here. We stay on site throughout the ceremony so that after we can transition any designs into the reception. The final touch is lighting all the candles and admiring our work! But our day isn’t done until we return at the end of the night to clean-up lots of candle wax and re-pack all the supplies. We remove stems from the centerpieces to wrap them up for the guests to take home. By the time we return and unload the essentials, it’s often around 3am. All in a good day’s work!

This sweet girl was a ray of sunshine in our spring flowers 🌸 We feel so lucky that we not only got to document her parents’ love story, but now we get to freeze these sweet moments in time as she grows✨

Statement florals in an array of colors set against the beautiful foliage wall at The Brooklyn Winery. A bit of contrast designed with color makes just the right impact you need for your special event. Photos @amber_photography_studio Envue @brooklynwinery

There is a certain kind of magic when timeless romance meets the cinematic pulse of New York City. 🍎 Sharing a little glimpse into a beautiful love story we documented in the city that never sleeps. Two of the frames are all about elegant, modern-fine art wedding portraits that feel like a classic movie still. For the other two, I slowed things down and loaded my favorite analog camera. There is just something incredibly soecial about capturing the raw, unfiltered sould of the NYC streets in classic black and white film. Two completely different vibes, one unforgettable city. Swipe through to experience the contrast. Which mood speaks to you more today: the romantic portraits ir the nostalgic vibe of NYC in black and white? Let me know in the comments. Our last wedding of April for Laura & Ben at the Edgewood Country Club. The very first event with Laura’s family was over 10 years ago when we had just started the business. It began with the wedding of eldest sister Amanda, then about 5 years later middle sister Christina’s wedding. And now 5 years later, the last family wedding for Laura. Since then have been baby showers and bridal showers. We’re so happy to have had a small role in the happiest of occasions and grateful to see the evolution of a beautiful family. People often ask us, when are the best flowers for our event in season. The truth is there are so many amazing options throughout the year. But our absolute favorite is the early spring season from mid-March to early May. This bridal bouquet was created in early April with local hellebore, foliage and andromeda among other things. There’s a certain kind of magic you can’t plan for… it just happens when the right people walk into the same room. Our first New Jersey gathering felt like that from the very start. Not polished or overproduced… just real. Conversations that lingered a little longer. Introductions that felt genuine. A table full of creatives choosing to show up with openness instead of expectation. This is what it looks like when community leads. When people trade small talk for something more meaningful. When collaboration feels natural. When you leave knowing you didn’t just attend something… you were part of it. New Jersey, you made this one feel easy. And we have a feeling it’s only going to get better from here 🤍 — Host: @emergeeventcollective Venue & Catering: @87sussex Planning & Design: @nicoleserseevents Stationery: @wordforworddesigns Floral: @about_designs Linens: @bbjlatavola Photography: @katetestaphotography Rentals: @glampartyrentals Video: @dianaandkorey Calligraphy: @pennedbyalice #EmergeEventCollective #ConnectionOverCompetition #NewJerseyEvents #LuxuryEventCommunity #emergefamily
