Event Planning & Marketing Strategist
With a background in marketing and a passion for creating meaningful experiences, I started my own event planning business to bring people together in intentional and impactful ways. Alongside running my business, I work in corporate digital advertising, giving me a well-rounded perspective on both brand strategy and execution. As a content creator, I love sharing insights, experiences, and creative inspiration. I’m a strong advocate for community and am especially passionate about supporting and uplifting local and women-owned businesses.
A fun fact about me: I’m Guyanese, and I was also a French minor—so I speak a little French too.
This Women’s History Month, I’ve been reflecting on how quickly life can change when you’re willing to bet on yourself.
In less than two years, my career has taken turns I never could have planned.
In that time I’ve:
• Started a balloon business from SCRATCH
• Turned it into an event coordination and experiential marketing brand
• Built relationships across Detroit’s event and business community
• Designed experiences for brands and private clients
And now, I’m stepping into a new role:
Chief Marketing Officer of Grace Productivity.
Grace is an app built to help people reclaim their focus and discipline in a world designed to distract them.
Everything I built in events — branding, storytelling, experiences, and community — prepared me for this moment.
Now I get to apply those same skills to helping build a company with global impact.
