Customer wants 1/8” taken off the radius of this commercial meat slicer part. I was told the machine fell off the table and was damaged. It was repaired but the alignment of the blade was off and they needed some material removed.
The boring head worked great for this. I’ll have a full detailed video on the YouTube channel.

This is an old mandrel I made years ago. At 14”OD it was the perfect size for the 13” fixture by I need.

The 3 jaw chuck was in need of a good cleaning. Year of chips, mill scale and grit had worked its way in the scroll threads and giving me a hard time opening and closing the jaws.
The job was made simple with the help of the @crcauto Universal Degreaser. It made easy work cleaning and blasting away all of the grit & grime built up in the threads.
I decided to go with the Dry Moly Lube on the master jaw threads this time and see how it performs long term.

Turning a fixture from some plasma cut 1” steel plate for a custom adaptor. It’ll be drilled & tapped for bolts, allowing me to hold the aluminum workpiece for the final operations in the cnc mill.
